5. Setup and Installation
5.1. Preparation
- Ensure the floor where the shower tray will be installed is level, clean, and structurally sound.
- Confirm that the drainage pipework is correctly positioned and accessible for connection to the shower tray drain.
- Gather all necessary tools: spirit level, measuring tape, drill, sealant gun, silicone sealant, wrench, screwdriver.
5.2. Installing the Adjustable Feet
- Turn the shower tray upside down on a protective surface to avoid scratches.
- Attach the five adjustable feet to the designated mounting points on the underside of the shower tray. Ensure they are securely fastened.
- Place the shower tray in its intended position and use a spirit level to adjust the height of each foot until the tray is perfectly level. The feet allow for height adjustment between 140mm and 200mm.

5.3. Installing the Drain System
- Assemble the drain components according to the manufacturer's instructions provided with the drain kit.
- Insert the drain into the designated opening in the shower tray. Ensure all seals are correctly seated to prevent leaks.
- Connect the drain to your existing waste pipework. Use appropriate plumbing fittings and sealant to ensure a watertight connection.
- Test the drainage by pouring water into the tray. Check for any leaks around the drain connection.
- Once the drain is confirmed to be watertight, place the alpine white gutter cover over the drain opening.

5.4. Sealing and Finishing
- Once the tray is level and the drain is connected, apply a waterproof silicone sealant around the perimeter of the shower tray where it meets the wall or floor. This prevents water from seeping underneath.
