7. Calibration

Calibration ensures the accuracy of your scale. It is recommended to calibrate your scale periodically or if you notice inconsistent readings. You will need a precise calibration weight (e.g., 100g) for this procedure.

  1. Turn the scale ON and wait for the display to show "0.00".
  2. Press and HOLD the M (Mode) button until the display shows "CAL".
  3. Release the M button. The display will then flash the required calibration weight (e.g., "100.00g").
  4. Gently place the specified calibration weight (e.g., 100g) onto the center of the weighing platform.
  5. Wait for the display to show "PASS" and then return to normal weighing mode ("0.00").
  6. Remove the calibration weight. The scale is now calibrated and ready for use.

Note: Calibration steps may vary slightly between specific models. Refer to the "Calibration area" indicated on the scale for optimal weight placement during calibration.

8. Maintenance and Care

  • Cleaning: Wipe the scale with a slightly damp cloth. Do not immerse the scale in water or use harsh chemicals.
  • Storage: Store the scale in a clean, dry place at room temperature. Avoid extreme temperatures and humidity.
  • Battery Replacement: Replace batteries when the low battery indicator appears on the display. Remove batteries if the scale will not be used for an extended period.
