Installation Guide

Operating Your Shower Valve
The DELTA Trinsic valve trim features a single handle for temperature control and a separate knob for diverter functions, allowing you to easily switch between shower outputs.
Temperature Control
To activate water flow, pull the main handle outwards. Rotate the handle to adjust the water temperature. Typically, rotating towards the left increases hot water, and rotating towards the right increases cold water. The Monitor Pressure-Balanced Valve Cartridge ensures a consistent temperature once set, protecting against sudden changes.

Diverter Function (3-Setting)
The upper knob controls the diverter, allowing you to select between different water outputs. This 3-setting diverter offers:
- Position 1: Directs water to the primary showerhead.
- Position 2: Directs water to the secondary output (e.g., handheld shower).
- Position 3: Allows water to flow to both the primary showerhead and the secondary output simultaneously.
Rotate the diverter knob to cycle through these positions. The knob will click into place for each setting.

Care and Maintenance
To maintain the finish of your Delta faucet, clean regularly with a soft cloth and warm, soapy water. Avoid using abrasive cleaners, harsh chemicals, or polishes, as these can damage the finish and void your warranty. The corrosion-resistant finish is designed for durability, but proper care ensures its longevity.
Troubleshooting
If you experience issues such as leaks or inconsistent water flow, first ensure that the rough-in valve (R22000) was properly installed and that water lines were thoroughly flushed before use.
