5. Setup
5.1. Installing Batteries
- Locate the battery compartment cover on the rear of the device.
- Slide or unclip the cover to open it.

6. Operating Instructions
6.1. Power On/Off
- To power on the device, press the ON/DIST button. The laser will activate.
- To power off the device, press and hold the CLEAR/OFF button for a few seconds. The device will also automatically power off after a period of inactivity to conserve battery life.

- Press the ON/DIST button once. The measurement will be displayed on the screen.

6.3. Continuous Measurement (Tracking)
- Press and hold the ON/DIST button. The device will continuously measure the distance as you move it.
- Release the button to stop continuous measurement and display the last reading.
6.4. Changing Units
- Press the UNITS button to cycle through available measurement units (e.g., meters, feet, inches).
6.5. Area and Volume Measurement
The device supports calculations for area and volume. Refer to the icons on the buttons for specific functions:
- Press the Area/Volume button (icon with two squares or three squares) to select the desired mode.
- Follow the on-screen prompts to take the necessary length, width, and height measurements. The device will automatically calculate and display the result.
