1. Introduction

The Crest 3D Whitestrips Express Whitening + LED Light Kit is designed to provide effective teeth whitening. This system utilizes a unique blue light technology, similar to that used by dental professionals, to enhance the whitening process. The blue light works to weaken stains, allowing the whitening ingredients in the 3DWhitestrips to remove stains more efficiently, leading to noticeably whiter teeth compared to using strips alone. This manual provides essential information for safe and effective use of your whitening kit.

2. Safety Information

• Do not use this light device if you have oral cancer, are being treated with photodynamic therapy by your doctor, are taking light sensitive medicines like aminolevulinic acid or porphyrin containing medications, or have sensitivity to light.
• KEEP OUT OF REACH OF YOUNG CHILDREN.
• NOT INTENDED FOR USE IN CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE OF 18.
• DO NOT SWALLOW PLASTIC STRIP.
• Crest 3D White Whitestrips is not a substitute for regular dental care. Visit your dentist regularly.
• Avoid contact of gel with eyes, cloth, leather, or fabric. Gel that comes into contact with the skin can cause temporary skin irritation and/or whitening.
• TOOTH SENSITIVITY & GUM DISCOMFORT: With all whitening products you may experience tooth sensitivity and/or gum discomfort. With products that offer the highest level of whitening, such as Crest 3D White Whitestrips With Light, there is an even greater chance that you may experience tooth sensitivity and/or gum discomfort. These effects are generally mild. These effects are temporary and not harmful.

3. What's Included

Your Crest 3D Whitestrips Express Whitening + LED Light Kit includes:

• 1 LED Light Device
• 10 Whitening Treatments (each treatment contains 1 upper strip and 1 lower strip, totaling 20 strips)

4. Ingredients

The whitening strips contain the following ingredients:

PVP, PEG-8, Water, Hydrogen Peroxide, Acrylates Copolymer, Sodium Hydroxide, Sodium Saccharin

5. Setup

The Crest 3D Whitestrips Express Whitening + LED Light Kit is ready for use directly out of the box. No assembly is required for the LED light device, as batteries are pre-installed and designed to last for the duration of the included treatments.

1. Ensure your teeth are clean and dry before application.
2. Open one individual foil pouch containing an upper and a lower whitening strip.

6. Operating Instructions

Follow these steps for each whitening treatment:

1. Peel: Peel the upper and lower whitening strips from their plastic backing liner.
2. Apply: Apply the gel side of the strip to your front teeth. Align the straight edge of the strip with your gumline. Fold the remainder of the strip over your teeth and press to secure. Repeat for the lower strip.
3. Wear: Wear the strips for 60 minutes. Do not remove the strips during this time.
4. Boost with Light: After 60 minutes, with the strips still on your teeth, place the LED light device against your teeth. Press and hold the two buttons on the sides of the device simultaneously to turn on the light. The light will turn off automatically after 5 minutes.
5. Remove & Reveal: After the light turns off, remove the LED light device and then peel off the whitening strips. Rinse your mouth and brush your teeth to remove any remaining gel.

For full results, use one treatment once a day for 10 days. Use up to one kit per year.

7. Usage Tips

• Crest 3D Whitestrips are enamel-safe and use the same whitening ingredient as dentists.
• To minimize potential tooth sensitivity, some users prefer to space out treatments, for example, using them every other day or a few times a week, rather than daily.

8. Maintenance

The LED light device is designed for single-kit use and does not require battery replacement or special cleaning. After each use, you may gently wipe the device with a clean, dry cloth if necessary. Store the device and remaining strips in a cool, dry place.

9. Troubleshooting

• Light not turning on: Ensure you are pressing and holding both side buttons simultaneously. The device is pre-charged and designed to last for the 10 treatments included in the kit. If it fails to activate, contact customer support.
• Strips not adhering: Ensure your teeth are dry before applying the strips. Saliva can prevent proper adhesion. Gently press the strips firmly against your teeth to secure them.
• Tooth Sensitivity: If you experience significant tooth sensitivity, consider taking a break from treatments for a day or two, or consult your dentist. This is a common, temporary side effect of whitening products.
• Uneven Whitening: Ensure the strips are applied evenly across the visible surfaces of your teeth. The LED light helps to activate the whitening gel uniformly.
