3. Setup and Operating Instructions
Follow these steps to prepare and brew espresso with your Minipresso NS.
Preparation:
- Remove the Espresso Cup: Pull the espresso cup from the top of the Minipresso.
- Unscrew the Portafilter: Twist and remove the portafilter from the main body.
- Insert NS Capsule: Place a compatible NS capsule into the portafilter.
- Screw on Portafilter: Screw the portafilter back onto the main body. Ensure it is tightened firmly to properly pierce the capsule and prevent leakage.
- Unscrew Water Tank: Twist and remove the water tank from the main body.
- Fill with Boiling Water: Fill the water tank with boiling water up to the indicated line (70 ml / 2.35 fl oz capacity). The Minipresso NS does not heat water.
- Screw on Water Tank: Screw the water tank back onto the main body, ensuring a tight seal.

Brewing Espresso:
- Unlock the Piston: Twist the semi-automatic piston counter-clockwise to unlock it. The piston will extend.
- Position for Extraction: Hold the Minipresso NS over the espresso cup.
- Pump to Extract: Begin pumping the piston repeatedly to extract the espresso. The device delivers 8 bars of pressure for a rich shot. Continue pumping until no more liquid comes out.
- Enjoy: Your fresh espresso is ready to be enjoyed.
