Maintenance and Care

  • Cleaning the Cover: The ultra-soft cover is machine washable. Remove the cover from the heating pad before washing. Wash on a gentle cycle with cold water. Tumble dry on low heat or air dry. Do not bleach or iron.
  • Cleaning the Pad: The heating pad itself should not be submerged in water. If cleaning is necessary, wipe the surface with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Ensure the pad is completely dry before reattaching the cover or storing.
  • Storage: When not in use, store the heating pad in a cool, dry place. Avoid folding the pad tightly or placing heavy objects on it, which could damage the internal heating elements.
  • Cord Care: Regularly inspect the power cord for any signs of damage, fraying, or exposed wires. If any damage is found, discontinue use immediately and contact customer support.

Troubleshooting

  • Pad not heating:
    • Ensure the power cord is securely plugged into a working electrical outlet.
    • Check if the controller is turned on and a heat setting is selected (LED indicator should be lit).
    • The auto shut-off feature may have activated. Turn the pad off and then back on.
  • Pad feels too hot or not hot enough:
    • Adjust the heat setting using the controller.
    • Ensure the pad is not folded or bunched, which can concentrate heat.
    • For moist heat, ensure the sponge is adequately damp, not overly wet or dry.
  • LED indicator not lighting up:
    • Verify the pad is plugged in and receiving power.
    • If the pad is not heating and the LED is off, the unit may be faulty. Discontinue use.
