2. Product Overview

3. Setup
3.1 Battery Installation and Removal
This tool operates with Ryobi One+ 18V Lithium-Ion batteries. Ensure the battery is fully charged before use.
- To Install: Align the battery pack with the port on the bottom of the tool. Slide the battery pack into the tool until it clicks securely into place.
- To Remove: Press the release latches on the sides of the battery pack and slide the battery out of the tool.
3.2 Bit Installation and Removal
The 1/4 inch quick connect coupler allows for rapid bit changes.
- To Install: Pull the quick connect coupler forward. Insert the 1/4 inch hex shank bit fully into the chuck. Release the coupler to lock the bit in place. Tug on the bit to ensure it is securely fastened.
- To Remove: Pull the quick connect coupler forward. The bit will release, allowing you to pull it out.

4. Operation
4.1 Powering On/Off and Variable Speed
The tool is activated by pressing the trigger switch. The speed is variable based on how far the trigger is depressed.
- To Start: Squeeze the trigger switch. The tool speed increases as you increase pressure on the trigger.
- To Stop: Release the trigger switch.
4.2 Forward/Reverse Rotation
The direction of rotation is controlled by the forward/reverse selector switch located above the trigger.
- Forward: Push the selector switch to the left for driving screws.
- Reverse: Push the selector switch to the right for removing screws.
- Lock: Center the selector switch to lock the trigger and prevent accidental starting.

5. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your tool.
- Cleaning: Keep the tool's air vents clear and free of debris. Use a clean, dry cloth to wipe down the exterior. Do not use solvents or harsh chemicals.

- Storage: Store the tool and battery in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and excessive heat. Remove the battery from the tool before storing for extended periods.
