1. Product Overview

The TP-Link TL-WR941HP is a 450Mbps High-Power Wireless N Router designed to provide extended Wi-Fi coverage and strong signal penetration. It features three detachable 9 dBi high-gain antennas and high-power amplifiers to enhance wireless range and eliminate dead zones. 2. Setup Guide

2.1 Package Contents

2.2 Hardware Connection

1. Position the Router: Place the router in a central location to maximize Wi-Fi coverage. Ensure the three detachable 9 dBi antennas are securely attached and oriented vertically for optimal signal.
2. Connect to the Internet: Connect your modem's Ethernet cable to the blue WAN port on the router.
3. Connect Devices (Optional): For wired connections, use an Ethernet cable to connect your computer or other network devices to any of the four yellow LAN ports.
4. Power On: Connect the power adapter to the router's power input and plug it into an electrical outlet. The power LED indicator should light up.

3. Operating Modes

• Range Extender Mode: In this mode, the router extends the coverage of an existing wireless network. It connects wirelessly to your main router and rebroadcasts the signal, eliminating Wi-Fi dead zones.
• Access Point Mode: The router transforms a wired network into a wireless one. It connects to an existing wired network via an Ethernet cable and broadcasts a Wi-Fi signal, allowing wireless devices to connect.

You can switch between these modes through the router's web management interface under the 'Operation Mode' settings.

4. Maintenance

• Slow Internet Speed:
  • Ensure your devices are not too far from the router.
  • Limit the number of devices simultaneously streaming or downloading large files.
  • Check for firmware updates.
