Important Safety Instructions

• Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven.
• Always attach plug to appliance first, then plug cord into the wall outlet. To disconnect, turn any control to "off", then remove plug from wall outlet.
• Do not use appliance for other than intended use.
• Scalding may occur if the lid is removed during the heating cycle.
• Ensure the lid is securely closed before operating.
• Do not fill above the MAX line or below the MIN line indicated inside the kettle.

Setup

1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the kettle and all accessories from the packaging. Retain packaging for future transport or storage.
2. Initial Cleaning: Before first use, fill the kettle with clean water to the MAX level. Boil the water, then discard it. Repeat this process 2-3 times to remove any manufacturing residues.
3. Placement: Place the power base on a flat, stable, heat-resistant surface, away from the edge of the counter. Ensure the power cord is not dangling where it can be pulled or tripped over.
4. Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet. Ensure the voltage matches the specifications of your kettle.

Operating Instructions

1. Filling the Kettle: Remove the kettle from its power base. Open the lid and fill with the desired amount of fresh, cold water. Do not fill below the MIN mark or above the MAX mark.
2. Closing the Lid: Close the lid securely. Ensure it clicks into place if applicable.
3. Placing on Base: Place the kettle firmly back onto its power base.
4. Boiling Water: Press the power switch to the "ON" position. The indicator light will illuminate, signifying that the kettle is heating.
5. Automatic Shut-off: The kettle will automatically turn off once the water has reached a rolling boil. The indicator light will extinguish.
6. Pouring: Carefully lift the kettle from the power base and pour the hot water slowly and steadily.
7. Re-boiling: If the kettle has just boiled, allow a few moments for the internal thermostat to reset before attempting to re-boil.

Note: The kettle features an automatic shut-off function for safety and energy efficiency. Do not attempt to override this feature.

Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning and maintenance will prolong the life of your kettle.

1. Before Cleaning: Always unplug the kettle from the power outlet and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
2. Exterior Cleaning: Wipe the exterior of the kettle with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals.
3. Interior Cleaning (Descaling): Over time, mineral deposits (limescale) may build up inside the kettle, especially in hard water areas.
   • Fill the kettle with 1 part white vinegar and 2 parts water.
   • Boil the mixture and let it stand for at least 30 minutes, or longer for heavy scale.
   • Discard the mixture and rinse the interior thoroughly with fresh water several times.
   • For stubborn deposits, a non-abrasive descaling solution designed for kettles can be used following the product's instructions.
4. Filter Cleaning (if applicable): If your kettle has a removable filter in the spout, gently remove it and rinse under running water. Reinsert once clean.
5. Storage: When not in use, store the kettle on its base in a dry, safe place.

Caution: Never immerse the kettle body or power base in water or any other liquid.
