3. Setup and First Use
3.1 Unpacking
- Carefully remove the oven and all accessories from the packaging.
- Remove any protective films, stickers, or packaging materials from the oven's interior and exterior.
- Check for any damage during transit. If damaged, do not operate the oven and contact customer support.
3.2 Placement
- Place the oven on a flat, stable, and heat-resistant surface.
- Ensure there is sufficient space (at least 10-15 cm) around the oven for proper ventilation. Do not place it directly against a wall or under cabinets that could be damaged by heat.
- Keep the oven away from water sources and flammable materials.
- Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet.
3.3 Before First Use (Burn-Off)
- Before cooking food, operate the oven empty to burn off any manufacturing residues.
- Wash the grill rack and baking tray with warm, soapy water, rinse, and dry thoroughly.
- Place the clean grill rack and baking tray inside the oven.
- Set the thermostat to maximum (230°C) and the timer to 15 minutes.
- A slight odor or smoke may be present during this initial operation; this is normal. Ensure the area is well-ventilated.
- After 15 minutes, turn off the oven and allow it to cool completely.
4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Controls
The Girmi FE20 oven features three control knobs on the right side:
- Top Knob: Temperature Control (Thermostat) - Adjusts cooking temperature from 100°C to 230°C.
- Middle Knob: Function Selector - Selects heating modes (e.g., upper heat, lower heat, both, convection). Refer to the symbols next to the knob for specific functions.
- Bottom Knob: Timer - Sets cooking time up to 60 minutes. The oven will turn off automatically and emit an audible signal when the set time expires.

4.2 Preheating
- For best cooking results, preheat the oven to the desired temperature before placing food inside.
- Turn the temperature control knob to the desired temperature.
- Select the desired cooking function (e.g., both upper and lower heating elements).
- Set the timer for approximately 10-15 minutes for preheating. The indicator light will illuminate.
- Once the preheating time is complete, the oven is ready for use.
4.3 Cooking
- Carefully place food into the preheated oven using the provided grill rack or baking tray.
- Close the oven door securely.
- Set the desired cooking temperature and function.
- Set the cooking time using the timer knob. The oven will operate until the timer reaches zero.
- Monitor cooking progress through the double glass door and interior light.
- When cooking is complete, the timer will sound, and the oven will turn off. Carefully remove food using oven mitts.

5. Cleaning and Maintenance
Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your oven.
5.1 General Cleaning
- Always unplug the oven and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
- Wipe the exterior with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Remove the grill rack and baking tray. Wash them in warm, soapy water, rinse, and dry thoroughly.
- For the interior, wipe with a damp cloth and mild detergent. For stubborn stains, a non-abrasive oven cleaner designed for conventional ovens can be used, following the product's instructions. Ensure all cleaner residue is removed.
- Do not use metal scouring pads or sharp objects, as they can scratch surfaces.
5.2 Double Glass Door Cleaning
The double glass door provides excellent insulation. If condensation or residue appears between the glass panes, it may require specialized cleaning. Consult the manufacturer's website or customer support for specific instructions on how to access and clean between the double glass panels, as improper disassembly can void the warranty or cause damage.
6. Troubleshooting
