Setup
1. Unfolding the Scale
Gently unfold the scale arms until they lock into an open, stable position. The scale is designed to resemble a pair of scissors when unfolded.

2. Battery Installation
The scale requires one CR2032 lithium battery. The battery compartment is typically located on the underside of the scale. Open the compartment, insert the battery with the positive (+) side facing up, and close the cover securely.
Operating Instructions
1. Power On/Off
- To turn on the scale, press the ON/OFF button. The LCD display will illuminate and show "0" or "0.0".
- To turn off the scale, press and hold the ON/OFF button for a few seconds, or wait for the automatic 2-minute shutoff.
2. Unit Conversion
- To switch between grams (g) and ounces (oz), press the UNIT button. The current unit will be displayed on the LCD screen.
3. Tare Function
The tare function allows you to weigh ingredients in a container by subtracting the container's weight.
- Place an empty container on the scale. The display will show its weight.
- Press the TARE button. The display will reset to "0" or "0.0".
- Add your ingredients to the container. The display will now show only the weight of the added ingredients.
4. Weighing Items
- Ensure the scale is on and displaying "0" or "0.0".
- Place the item(s) to be weighed directly onto the scale's weighing surface or into a tared container.
- Read the weight displayed on the LCD screen.

- Cleaning: Wipe the scale surface with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
