1. Introduction
The BLU Joy is a user-friendly mobile phone designed for simplicity and ease of use, featuring a large keypad and an emergency access SOS key. This manual provides comprehensive instructions for setting up, operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting your BLU Joy phone.

2. What's in the Box
Upon unboxing your BLU Joy phone, please ensure all the following items are present:
- BLU Joy Device
- Quick Guide
- Battery
- Charger

3. Setup
3.1. Battery Installation
- Gently remove the back cover of the phone.
- Align the battery contacts with the terminals inside the phone.
- Press the battery down firmly until it clicks into place.
- Replace the back cover, ensuring it is securely fastened.
3.2. SIM Card Installation
The BLU Joy supports Dual SIM functionality.
- With the back cover and battery removed, locate the SIM card slots.
- Insert your 2G GSM SIM card(s) into the designated slot(s) with the gold contacts facing down and the cut corner aligned correctly.
- Ensure the SIM card(s) are fully seated.
- Reinstall the battery and back cover.
Note: This phone is compatible with 2G GSM networks (850/900/1800/1900 MHz). It will not work with 3G-only providers or CDMA carriers.
3.3. Initial Charging
Before first use, fully charge the phone for at least 4 hours.
- Connect the charger to the phone's charging port.
- Plug the charger into a standard wall outlet.
- The battery indicator on the screen will show charging status.
- Once fully charged, disconnect the charger.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1. Power On/Off
- To power on: Press and hold the Power/End Call button (red button) until the screen lights up.
- To power off: Press and hold the Power/End Call button until the power off options appear, then select "Power off".

4.2. Making and Receiving Calls
- To make a call: Enter the phone number using the large keypad and press the Call button (green button).
- To receive a call: Press the Call button when the phone rings.
- To end a call: Press the End Call button (red button).
4.3. Sending and Receiving Text Messages
- Navigate to the "Messages" menu.
- Select "New Message" to compose a text.
- Enter the recipient's number and your message using the keypad.
- Press "Send".
4.4. SOS Emergency Button
The BLU Joy features a dedicated SOS button for emergency situations. This button can be configured to dial pre-set emergency contacts (police, medical, fire, or personal contacts).
- To activate: Press and hold the SOS button located on the back of the phone.
- The phone will automatically dial the pre-configured emergency numbers in sequence until a connection is made.

4.5. Built-in Flashlight
The phone includes a convenient built-in flashlight.
- To turn on/off: Locate the dedicated flashlight button on the side of the phone (or refer to the quick guide for specific key combination).

4.6. Multimedia Functions (MP3/MP4, FM Radio, VGA Camera)
- MP3/MP4 Player: Access the multimedia menu to play audio and video files. You may need to insert a microSD card (not included) for storage.
- FM Radio: Tune into your favorite radio stations. An antenna is built-in.
- VGA Camera: Use the integrated camera for basic photo capture. Access it through the main menu.
5. Maintenance
5.1. Battery Care
- Avoid extreme temperatures, as they can reduce battery life.
- Do not expose the battery to water or fire.
- Use only the original BLU charger provided with the device.
5.2. Cleaning Your Device
- Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the phone's exterior.
- Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
5.3. Storage
- Store the phone in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
- If storing for an extended period, ensure the battery is partially charged (around 50%) to preserve its lifespan.
6. Troubleshooting
