3. Setup
Unpacking

First Use
- Before using for the first time, fill the kettle with clean water up to the maximum fill line.
- Boil the water, then discard it. Repeat this process two to three times to remove any manufacturing residues.
- Wipe the exterior of the kettle with a damp cloth.
Placement
- Place the power base on a dry, flat, and stable surface.
- Ensure the power cord is not dangling or in a position where it can be tripped over.

4. Operating Instructions
Filling the Kettle
- Remove the kettle from its power base.
- Open the lid and fill the kettle with the desired amount of water. Do not fill below the minimum mark or above the maximum mark (1.7L).
- Close the lid securely.
Boiling Water
- Place the filled kettle firmly onto its power base.
- Plug the power cord into a suitable electrical outlet (230V, 50Hz).
- Press the ON/OFF switch downwards. The LED indicator will illuminate, indicating that the kettle is heating.
- The water temperature can be monitored on the analog thermometer located on the side of the kettle.
- Once the water has boiled, the kettle will automatically switch off, and the LED indicator will extinguish.
- You can manually switch off the kettle at any time by pushing the ON/OFF switch upwards.

5. Cleaning and Maintenance
Regular cleaning and maintenance will prolong the life of your kettle and ensure optimal performance.
General Cleaning
- Always unplug the kettle and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
- Wipe the exterior of the kettle with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads.
- Never immerse the kettle or its power base in water.
Descaling
Limescale buildup can affect the kettle's performance and lifespan. Descale regularly, especially in hard water areas.
- Fill the kettle with a mixture of water and white vinegar (e.g., 1 part vinegar to 2 parts water) or a commercial descaling solution according to product instructions.
- Boil the mixture and let it stand for at least 30 minutes, or longer if limescale is heavy.
- Pour out the mixture and rinse the kettle thoroughly with fresh water several times.
- Boil fresh water in the kettle and discard it to remove any residual vinegar taste.
Filter Cleaning
