1. Introduction

The TC Electronic POLYTUNE CLIP is a state-of-the-art clip-on tuner designed for precise and versatile instrument tuning. It features polyphonic, strobe, and chromatic tuning modes, along with a bright 108 LED matrix display for clear visibility. 2. Setup

2.1 Battery Installation

The POLYTUNE CLIP uses one CR2032 Lithium Metal battery, which is included. To install or replace the battery:

Locate the battery compartment on the back of the tuner.
Open the compartment cover.
Insert the CR2032 battery with the positive (+) side facing upwards.
Close the battery compartment cover securely.

2.2 Attaching the Tuner

The POLYTUNE CLIP is designed to attach to the headstock of your instrument. Its robust clip ensures a secure fit and optimal vibration transfer for accurate tuning.

Gently open the clip.
Attach the tuner firmly to the headstock of your guitar, bass, or other stringed instrument. Ensure it is securely fastened but not overtightened to avoid damage to the instrument finish.
The display will automatically orient itself for optimal viewing, regardless of the mounting position.

3. Operation

3.1 Powering On/Off

Press the power button located on the side of the tuner to turn it on. The tuner will automatically power off after a period of inactivity to conserve battery life.

3.2 Tuning Modes

The POLYTUNE CLIP offers three primary tuning modes:

Polyphonic Mode: Strum all strings simultaneously, and the tuner will display the tuning status of all strings at once. This allows for quick assessment of your instrument's overall tuning.

Chromatic Mode: Play individual strings, and the tuner will display the note and its tuning accuracy. This mode is ideal for precise tuning of single strings.
Strobe Mode: For ultimate precision, the strobe mode provides extremely accurate tuning feedback, allowing you to fine-tune your instrument with a +/- 0.02 cent accuracy.

The tuner automatically switches between polyphonic and chromatic modes based on whether you strum all strings or play a single note. Strobe mode can typically be activated or selected via a button press, though specific controls may vary slightly. 4. Maintenance

4.1 Cleaning

To clean your POLYTUNE CLIP, use a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or waxes, as these can damage the finish or internal components. Avoid exposing the tuner to excessive moisture.

4.2 Battery Replacement

When the display dims or the tuner becomes unresponsive, it is likely time to replace the CR2032 battery. Follow the battery installation steps outlined in Section 2.1.

5. Troubleshooting
