1. Introduction

The TC Electronic POLYTUNE CLIP is a state-of-the-art clip-on tuner designed for precise and versatile instrument tuning. 2. Setup

2.1 Battery Installation

The POLYTUNE CLIP uses one CR2032 Lithium Metal battery, which is included. To install or replace the battery:

  1. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the tuner.
  2. Open the compartment cover.
  3. Insert the CR2032 battery with the positive (+) side facing upwards.
  4. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

2.2 Attaching the Tuner

The POLYTUNE CLIP is designed to attach to the headstock of your instrument. Its robust clip ensures a secure fit and optimal vibration transfer for accurate tuning.

  1. Gently open the clip.
  2. Attach the tuner firmly to the headstock of your guitar, bass, or other stringed instrument. Ensure it is securely fastened but not overtightened to avoid damage to the instrument finish.

3. Operation

3.1 Powering On/Off

Press the power button located on the side of the tuner to turn it on. The tuner will automatically power off after a period of inactivity to conserve battery life.

The POLYTUNE CLIP offers three primary tuning modes:

4. Maintenance

4.1 Cleaning

4.2 Battery Replacement

When the display dims or the tuner becomes unresponsive, it is likely time to replace the CR2032 battery. Follow the battery installation steps outlined in Section 2.1.
