4. Setup
4.1. Battery Installation
- Locate the battery compartment on the back of the clock.
- Open the battery compartment cover.
- Insert 6 AA alkaline batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment.
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.
4.2. Placement
The Seiko GP502W clock can be placed on a flat surface using its stand or mounted on a wall.
4.2.1. Desk Placement
- Extend the integrated stand(s) from the back of the clock.
- Place the clock on a stable, flat surface.

4.2.2. Wall Mounting
Use the appropriate hanging hardware for your wall type. Do not use the provided hardware for concrete walls; purchase commercially available hangers if needed.
- For Wood Pillars or Thick Walls: Use the provided wood screw. Securely fasten the screw into the wall, leaving a small portion exposed for the clock to hang.
- For Gypsum Board Walls: Use the provided gypsum board hangers. Follow the instructions for the specific hanger type to install it securely.
- Align the hanging slot on the back of the clock with the installed screw or hanger and carefully place the clock onto it.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1. Initial Time Synchronization (Satellite Radio)
Upon battery installation, the clock will automatically attempt to receive satellite radio waves to set the time. This process typically completes within 10 seconds under optimal reception conditions. Ensure the clock is placed in an area with clear access to satellite signals, ideally near a window and away from large metal objects or strong electromagnetic interference.

5.2. Manual Time/Date Adjustment
While the clock primarily relies on satellite synchronization, manual adjustments may be necessary for time zone changes or if reception is consistently poor. Refer to the buttons on the back of the clock (e.g., 'SET', 'MODE') for specific adjustment procedures. Typically, pressing 'SET' or 'MODE' will allow you to cycle through adjustable parameters like time, date, and time zone.
5.3. Temperature and Humidity Display
