Before connecting the hand control, ensure the bed's power supply is disconnected from the wall outlet to prevent accidental operation or electrical hazards.

  1. Locate the existing hand control cable connection point on your adjustable bed's motor. This is typically a 5-pin circular port.
  2. Align the 5-pin connector of the new Okin hand control with the port on the motor. The connector is designed with a 90-degree angle for easy insertion.
  3. Gently push the connector firmly into the port until it is fully seated. Do not force the connection.
  4. Once connected, restore power to the bed by plugging the power supply back into the wall outlet.
  5. Test all functions of the hand control to ensure proper operation.
