2. Important Safety Instructions

4. Setup and Installation

Unpacking:

Placement:

• Place the oven on a flat, stable surface that can support its weight and the heaviest food item likely to be cooked in it.
• Ensure adequate ventilation. Leave a minimum of 10 cm (4 inches) clearance at the rear, 20 cm (8 inches) at the top, and 5 cm (2 inches) on both sides.
• Do not block air vents.
• Keep the oven away from heat sources, steam, or splashing liquids.
• Do not place the oven near a radio or TV, as it may cause interference.

Electrical Connection:

Plug the oven into a properly installed and grounded wall outlet. Ensure the voltage and frequency match the specifications on the rating label of the oven. Do not use extension cords or adapters.

Turntable Installation:

Place the turntable ring in the center of the oven cavity. Position the glass turntable plate securely on top of the turntable ring. Ensure it rotates freely.

5. Operating Instructions

Setting the Clock:

1. Press the "Clock/Timer" button once.
2. Turn the Easy-Tronic jog dial to set the hour. Press "Clock/Timer" to confirm.
3. Turn the Easy-Tronic jog dial to set the minutes. Press "Clock/Timer" to confirm. The clock is now set.

Basic Microwave Cooking:

1. Place food in a microwave-safe container on the turntable. Close the door.
2. Press the "Power Level" button repeatedly to select the desired power level (e.g., 800W for full power). The oven has 8 power levels.
3. Turn the Easy-Tronic jog dial to set the cooking time.
4. Press the "Start/+30 Sec" button to begin cooking.

Grill Cooking:

Use the provided round grill rack for best results.

1. Place food on the grill rack. Close the door.
2. Press the "Grill" button.
3. Turn the Easy-Tronic jog dial to set the grilling time.
4. Press the "Start/+30 Sec" button to begin grilling.

Combination Cooking:

The R-652IN offers 3 combined cooking modes, blending microwave and grill functions.

1. Place food in a suitable container on the turntable or grill rack. Close the door.
2. Press the desired "Combination Cooking" button (e.g., C-1, C-2, C-3). Refer to the oven's internal guide or full manual for specific ratios.
3. Turn the Easy-Tronic jog dial to set the cooking time.

Defrosting:

The oven provides 2 defrost modes: by weight and by time.

Defrost by Weight:

1. Place frozen food in the oven. Close the door.
2. Press the "Defrost" button (usually labeled with a snowflake icon) once.
3. Turn the Easy-Tronic jog dial to select the food weight.
4. Press the "Start/+30 Sec" button.

Defrost by Time:

1. Place frozen food in the oven. Close the door.
2. Press the "Defrost" button twice.
3. Turn the Easy-Tronic jog dial to set the defrosting time.
4. Press the "Start/+30 Sec" button.

Auto Cooking Programs:

The R-652IN features 10 automatic cooking programs for various food types. Consult the full user manual for a list of these programs and their corresponding codes.

1. Place food in the oven. Close the door.
2. Press the "Auto Menu" button repeatedly or turn the jog dial to select the desired program number.
3. Press the "Start/+30 Sec" button. The oven will automatically set the cooking time and power level.

Quick Start (+30 Sec):

For quick heating at full power, simply press the "Start/+30 Sec" button. Each press adds 30 seconds to the cooking time. This function can also be used to extend cooking time during operation.

Kitchen Timer (95 minutes):

The oven can be used as a kitchen timer without cooking.

1. Press the "Clock/Timer" button twice.
2. Turn the Easy-Tronic jog dial to set the desired time (up to 95 minutes).
3. Press the "Start/+30 Sec" button. The timer will count down without activating the microwave.

Child Lock:

To activate the child lock, press and hold the "Stop/Cancel" button for approximately 3 seconds until a lock indicator appears on the display. To deactivate, repeat the process.

Eco Mode:

To save energy, press the "Eco Mode" button. This will turn off the display and internal light when the oven is not in use. Press any button or open the door to reactivate the display.
