4. Setup and Installation

Apply PVC primer to both the pipe ends and the inside of the fittings, then apply PVC cement. Quickly join the pieces, giving them a quarter turn to ensure a strong bond. Work efficiently as PVC cement dries quickly.
6. Connect to Waste Line: Connect the assembled drain and overflow system to your home's main waste line. Ensure all connections are secure and properly sealed.
7. Test for Leaks: After the cement has cured (refer to cement manufacturer's instructions for curing time), fill the tub with water and check all connections for leaks. Also, test the overflow by filling the tub above the overflow opening. Inspect for any water seepage.
