Setup

Battery Installation

  1. Ensure the work light is turned off.
  2. Align the ribs on the battery with the grooves in the work light's battery port.
  3. Slide the battery into the port until it clicks securely into place.
  4. To remove the battery, press the latch on the battery pack and slide it out.

The Ryobi P727 is compatible with all Ryobi 18V One+ batteries, including models such as P100, P101, P102, P103, P104, P105, P107, and P108.

Operating Instructions

Turning On/Off and Adjusting Light Output

The work light features two LED banks for versatile illumination. A power button controls the light output.

  1. Press the power button once to illuminate one LED bank.
  2. Press the power button a second time to illuminate both LED banks for maximum brightness (950 lumens).
  3. Press the power button a third time to turn the light off.

Adjusting the Light Head

The light head can rotate up to 270 degrees, allowing you to direct light precisely where needed. Gently pivot the light panels around the central axis to achieve the desired angle.

Using Hanging Options

The work light includes multiple integrated hanging options for convenience:

  • Pull-out Hook: Located at the top of the light, this hook can be extended to hang the light from pipes, wires, or other suitable structures.
  • Nail Pegs: Integrated slots allow the light to be mounted on nails or screws.
  • Hanging Brackets: Additional brackets provide further mounting flexibility.

Battery Life

When using a 4AH Ryobi 18V One+ battery, the work light can provide illumination for up to 9 hours.

Maintenance

Cleaning

  • Always remove the battery before cleaning.
  • Use a clean, damp cloth to wipe down the exterior of the work light. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
  • Keep the LED lenses clean for optimal light output.

Storage

  • Store the work light in a dry, cool place, away from direct sunlight and moisture.
