3. Setup
3.1 Before First Use
- Remove any stickers or protective film from the soleplate.
- Clean the soleplate with a soft, damp cloth.
- It is recommended to iron an old piece of fabric for a few minutes to remove any manufacturing residues.
3.2 Filling the Water Tank
- Ensure the iron is unplugged from the mains supply.
- Set the steam control to the 'dry ironing' position (no steam).
- Open the water filling inlet cover.
- Using a measuring cup, carefully pour tap water into the tank up to the 'MAX' level indicator. Do not overfill.
- Close the water filling inlet cover securely.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Temperature and Steam Settings
- Plug the iron into a suitable mains socket.
- Adjust the temperature dial according to the fabric type (refer to garment care labels). The indicator light will illuminate.
- Wait for the indicator light to turn off, indicating the desired temperature has been reached.
- For steam ironing, set the steam control to the desired steam level. For dry ironing, keep the steam control at 'dry ironing' position.
4.2 Steam Boost Function
Press the steam boost button (often located on the handle) for an extra burst of steam (up to 100 g/min) to remove stubborn creases. Wait a few seconds between each press to allow the iron to recover temperature.
4.3 Vertical Steam
The vertical steam function is ideal for refreshing hanging garments, curtains, or delicate fabrics. Hold the iron vertically a few centimeters away from the fabric and press the steam boost button repeatedly.

4.4 Anti-Drip System
This iron is equipped with an anti-drip system that prevents water from dripping from the soleplate when the temperature is too low. This helps avoid water stains on your clothes.

5. Maintenance
5.1 Cleaning the Soleplate
- After each use, allow the iron to cool down completely.
- Wipe the soleplate with a damp cloth and a non-abrasive cleaner if necessary.
- Do not use abrasive pads, scouring powders, or harsh chemicals as these can damage the ceramic coating.
5.2 Descaling (Self-Clean Function)
To maintain optimal steam performance and prolong the life of your iron, use the self-clean function regularly (e.g., once a month, depending on water hardness).
- Fill the water tank to the 'MAX' level.
- Plug in the iron and set the temperature to maximum.
- Once the indicator light turns off, unplug the iron.
- Hold the iron horizontally over a sink.
- Press and hold the self-clean button (if available, otherwise refer to the manual for specific descaling instructions). Hot water and steam will be expelled from the soleplate, carrying away scale particles.
- Shake the iron gently until all the water has been used.
- Plug the iron back in and let it heat up to dry the soleplate.
- Unplug and store the iron once cooled.
5.3 Storage
- Always empty the water tank after each use.
- Allow the iron to cool down completely before storing.
- Store the iron in an upright position to protect the soleplate.
- Wrap the power cord neatly around the cord storage area (if applicable).
