2.2 Device Layout

Familiarize yourself with the buttons and ports on your AGPTEK A02S MP3 Player:

3. Setup

3.1 Charging the Device

Before first use, fully charge your MP3 player. A full charge typically takes 1.5 to 3 hours.

  1. Connect the provided USB cable to the player's USB port.
  2. Connect the other end of the USB cable to a computer's USB port or a compatible USB wall adapter (not included).
  3. The battery icon on the screen will indicate charging status.
  4. Once fully charged, disconnect the USB cable.

3.2 Transferring Music and Files

The AGPTEK A02S supports simple drag-and-drop file transfer.

  1. Ensure the player is powered on and connected to your computer via the USB cable.
  2. The player will appear as a removable disk drive on your computer.
  3. Open the player's drive. You can create folders to organize your music.
  4. Drag and drop your desired music files (MP3, WMA, OGG, WAV, APE, FLAC, AAC-LC, ACELP) or other supported files directly into the player's storage or a folder.
  5. Once transfer is complete, safely eject the removable disk from your computer before disconnecting the USB cable.

Note: The device does not directly support iTunes or certain audiobook formats.

3.3 Inserting a Micro SD Card

The player has 16GB of built-in memory and supports up to 128GB Micro SD cards for expanded storage.

  1. Locate the Micro SD card slot on the side of the player.
  2. Gently insert the Micro SD card into the slot until it clicks into place.
  3. To remove, gently push the card inward until it clicks, then release, and it will spring out.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Power On/Off

  • To Power On: Slide the physical power switch on the bottom of the device to the "ON" position.
  • To Power Off: Slide the physical power switch to the "OFF" position. Alternatively, you can long-press the center Play/Pause button to turn off the device.

Note: The player will automatically power off after 5 minutes of inactivity to save battery. This setting can be adjusted in the device's menu.

4.2 Basic Navigation

Use the physical buttons to navigate through menus and control playback:

  • M Button: Press to go back to the previous menu or access the main menu from a sub-menu.
  • Play/Pause Button (Center): Press to select an option in the menu or to play/pause music.
  • Previous/Next Buttons: Use to scroll through menu options or skip tracks during playback.
