Setup

Follow these steps to set up your Jenga GIANT JS7 game:

  1. Remove all 54 hardwood blocks from the heavy-duty carry bag.
  2. To build the starting tower, stack the blocks in levels of three. Each level should be placed perpendicular to the one below it. For example, if the first level has blocks running north-south, the second level should have blocks running east-west.
  3. Continue stacking until all 54 blocks are used, forming a stable tower that is approximately 26 inches (2 feet) high. Ensure the tower is built on a flat, stable surface.

Operating Instructions (Gameplay)

The objective of Jenga GIANT is to remove blocks from the tower and stack them on top without causing the tower to fall. The game is played by two or more players.

  1. The player who built the tower goes first.
  2. Players take turns removing a single block from any level below the highest complete level. You may use only one hand to remove the block.
  3. Once a block is removed, the player must place it on the top of the tower, completing the next level. Blocks on the top level must be placed perpendicular to the blocks below them.
  4. The game continues with players taking turns. The tension builds as the tower becomes taller and less stable.
  5. The game ends when the tower falls. The player who caused the tower to fall is the loser. The player who successfully removed and placed the last block before the tower fell is the winner.

Maintenance

To ensure the longevity and optimal playability of your Jenga GIANT JS7 hardwood blocks, follow these maintenance guidelines:

  • Cleaning: Wipe blocks with a dry or slightly damp cloth to remove dust or dirt. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, as these can damage the wood finish.
  • Storage: Store the blocks in the provided heavy-duty carry bag when not in use. Keep them in a dry place away from extreme temperatures and humidity to prevent warping or cracking.
  • Inspection: Periodically inspect blocks for any signs of wear or damage. While the hardwood is durable, excessive force or improper handling can cause minor imperfections.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter any issues during gameplay, consider the following:

  • Tower Instability: Ensure the playing surface is completely flat and stable. Uneven surfaces can lead to premature tower collapse.
  • Blocks Sticking: If blocks feel too tight or sticky, ensure they are clean and free of debris. Hardwood can expand slightly with humidity; storing in a dry environment can help.
  • Difficulty Removing Blocks: Some blocks may be tighter than others. Gently wiggle the block to loosen it before attempting to pull it out. Remember to use only one hand.
