Battery Installation

Operating Instructions
Cutting and Sealing Ribbon
Follow these steps to cut and seal your ribbon:
- Ensure batteries are correctly installed and the tool is powered on (if applicable, check for an indicator light).
- Gently open the top cover of the Ribbon Cutter.
- Place the ribbon flat between the cutting guides, positioning it where you wish to make the cut. Ensure the ribbon is taut and aligned.
- Close the top cover firmly.
- Press and hold the activation button. The cutting wire will heat up. You may hear a soft 'click' or feel the ribbon melt.
- Hold the button until the ribbon is completely severed and the edges are sealed. This typically takes a few seconds, depending on ribbon material and thickness.
- Release the button and open the top cover to retrieve your cut and sealed ribbon.

Cutting Styles

Maintenance
Cleaning the Cutting Wire
Over time, residue from ribbon materials may accumulate on the cutting wire, affecting performance. To clean the wire:
- Ensure the tool is free of ribbon.
- Press and hold the activation button for 20-30 seconds without any ribbon in the cutting area. This process will burn off accumulated residue.
- Allow the tool to cool before storing.
Replacing Batteries
