Introduction
This manual provides essential information for the safe and efficient operation of your CHAUVET DJ EVE E-100Z Ellipsoidal Gobo Projector Spot Light. The EVE E-100Z is a powerful spot fixture designed for sharp pattern projection, utilizing a 100 W warm white LED light source. It supports both metal and glass gobos for detailed projections. Setup
Mounting
The EVE E-100Z can be mounted in various orientations using the included mounting yoke and C-clamp. Ensure the mounting surface or truss can support the fixture's weight (12.6 lb / 5.7 kg) and any additional accessories. Always use a safety cable when mounting overhead.

Power Connection
Connect the fixture to a grounded power outlet using the provided power cord. The EVE E-100Z operates on 100 to 240 VAC, 50/60 Hz (auto-ranging). For multiple units, power linking is supported: up to 9 units at 120 V or 16 units at 230 V.
DMX Connection
For external control, connect a DMX controller to the fixture's 3-pin XLR DMX IN port. Use a DMX cable to link multiple fixtures via the DMX OUT port. The fixture supports 1 or 3 DMX channels.

Operating Instructions
Manual Zoom and Focus
Adjust the manual zoom to achieve the desired beam angle, ranging from 14 to 30 degrees. Rotate the lens barrel to focus the projected image for maximum clarity.
Framing Shutters
The integrated framing shutters allow you to precisely shape the projected beam. Use the four adjustable blades to create custom shapes and highlight specific areas.
Gobo Installation
The EVE E-100Z includes holders for both glass and steel gobos. The compatible gobo size is M (66 mm outside diameter, 48 mm image diameter, 2 mm maximum thickness). Carefully insert the gobo into the designated holder and secure it within the fixture.

Control Panel and DMX Modes
Use the onboard control panel (MENU, ENTER, UP, DOWN buttons) to navigate settings and select DMX modes. The fixture can operate in standalone mode, eliminating the need for an external DMX controller, or via DMX with 1 or 3 channel options.

Maintenance
Cleaning
Regular cleaning of the lens and exterior surfaces is recommended to maintain optimal light output and appearance. Use a soft, lint-free cloth and a mild cleaning solution. Ensure the fixture is disconnected from power before cleaning.
Storage
When not in use, store the fixture in a dry, dust-free environment. Protect it from extreme temperatures and humidity.
Troubleshooting
- No Power: Check the power cord connection, ensure the outlet is active, and verify the fixture's fuse.
- No Light Output: Confirm the fixture is receiving power and is not in a blackout mode. Check DMX signal if applicable.
- Incorrect DMX Behavior: Verify DMX cable connections, DMX address settings, and DMX mode selection on the fixture and controller. Ensure proper DMX termination if using a long chain of fixtures.
- Gobo Image Blurry: Adjust the manual focus on the lens barrel. Ensure the gobo is correctly seated in its holder.
