  1. Ensure the iron is unplugged from the power outlet.
  2. Set the steam control dial to the "Dry Ironing" position (no steam).
  3. Open the water tank filler cap.

Operating Instructions

Temperature Setting

  1. Plug the iron into a suitable power outlet (240V, 50Hz).
  2. Turn the temperature control dial to the desired setting according to the fabric type. Refer to the fabric care labels on your garments.
  3. The indicator light will illuminate, indicating the iron is heating. It will turn off when the set temperature is reached.

Dry Ironing

For dry ironing, ensure the steam control dial is set to the "Dry Ironing" position (no steam). Wait for the indicator light to turn off before beginning to iron.

Steam Ironing

Steam ironing is suitable for most fabrics, especially cotton and linen. Ensure the water tank is filled.

  1. Set the temperature control dial to the steam ironing range (usually between two and three dots on the dial). Steam will only be produced at higher temperatures.
  2. Once the indicator light turns off, turn the steam control dial to the desired steam level.

Maintenance

Cleaning the Soleplate

  • Always ensure the iron is unplugged and completely cool before cleaning.
  • Wipe the soleplate with a damp cloth and a non-abrasive cleaner.
  • Do not use abrasive scouring pads or harsh chemicals, as these can damage the stainless steel soleplate.
