  • Wipe the exterior of the main unit with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the main unit in water.

4.3 Placement

  • Place the pressure cooker on a stable, level, heat-resistant surface, away from walls or cabinets to allow for proper ventilation.
  • Ensure the power cord is not obstructed or near hot surfaces.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Basic Operation Steps

  1. Prepare Ingredients: Place your food and required liquid into the inner pot. Ensure the liquid meets the minimum requirement for pressure cooking (typically 1 cup for most recipes) and do not exceed the MAX fill line (2/3 full, or 1/2 full for expanding foods).
  2. Insert Inner Pot: Place the inner pot into the main unit.
  3. Close Lid: Place the lid on the cooker, aligning the arrow on the lid with the 'OPEN' indicator on the base. Rotate the lid clockwise until the arrow aligns with the 'CLOSE' indicator. The lid should lock securely.
  4. Set Steam Release Valve: Ensure the steam release valve is in the 'Airtight' (sealing) position for pressure cooking.
  5. Plug In: Connect the power cord to a grounded electrical outlet. The display will illuminate.
  6. Select Cooking Program: Press the desired preset function button on the control panel (e.g., Fish, Rice, Meat/Chicken, Baby Cereals, Cake, Tendon/Bean, Soup, Congee). The corresponding indicator light will illuminate.
  7. Adjust Settings (if applicable): Some programs may allow for pressure level adjustments (Standard, Delicate, Rich) or delayed start ('Preset'). Refer to specific recipe requirements.
  8. Start Cooking: The cooker will automatically begin the preheating phase, then build pressure. The float valve will rise when pressure is reached.
  9. Cooking Completion: Once the cooking cycle is complete, the cooker will beep and automatically switch to the 'Keep Warm' function.
  10. Release Pressure: There are two methods for pressure release:
    • Natural Release: Allow the pressure to dissipate naturally. This is recommended for foamy foods or large cuts of meat. The float valve will drop on its own.
    • Quick Release: Carefully turn the steam release valve to the 'Exhaust' position. Caution: Hot steam will be released. Keep hands and face away from the valve. The float valve will drop once pressure is fully released.
  11. Open Lid: Once the float valve has dropped, rotate the lid counter-clockwise to the 'OPEN' position and lift it away from you to avoid residual steam.
