4. Setup and Installation
Follow these steps for secure installation of your projector ceiling mount.
4.1 Tools Required (Not Included):
- Drill
- 10mm Drill Bit (for concrete/brick ceilings)
- Phillips Head Screwdriver
- Pencil
- Measuring Tape
- Stud Finder (for wooden ceilings)
4.2 Attaching the Mount to the Ceiling:
- Select Mounting Location: Choose a suitable location on the ceiling, ensuring it is structurally sound and free from electrical wires or pipes.
- Mark Drill Holes: Hold the ceiling mounting plate against the ceiling at the desired position. Use a pencil to mark the four drill holes.
- Drill Holes: Drill holes at the marked positions. For concrete or brick ceilings, use a 10mm drill bit and insert the provided wall anchors. For wooden ceilings, drill pilot holes and ensure you are drilling into a joist.
- Secure Ceiling Plate: Attach the ceiling mounting plate to the ceiling using the provided screws and washers. Ensure it is firmly secured.

4.3 Assembling the Projector Mount:
- Attach Projector Arms: Secure the four adjustable projector arms to the projector mounting plate using the small screws and washers.
- Adjust Arm Length: Adjust the length of the arms to match the mounting holes on your projector. The arms are designed to accommodate hole distances between 210mm and 330mm.
- Attach Projector: Carefully lift your projector and align its mounting holes with the adjusted arms. Use the appropriate screws (M3x8, M4x10, M5x10, or M6x10) from the hardware kit to secure the projector to the arms. Do not overtighten.

4.4 Connecting the Mount to the Ceiling Plate:
- Assemble Pole: Connect the telescopic pole sections if they are not already assembled, ensuring the cable management channel is aligned.
- Attach Pole to Ceiling Plate: Slide the upper part of the pole assembly into the ceiling mounting plate and secure it with the provided screws and hex key.
- Attach Projector Assembly to Pole: Connect the projector assembly (with the projector attached) to the lower part of the telescopic pole. Secure it firmly with the designated screws and hex key.
- Cable Management: Route all necessary cables (power, HDMI, etc.) through the internal cable management channel of the pole for a tidy installation.
5. Operating and Adjustments
The deleyCON projector mount offers various adjustment options to achieve the perfect projection angle.

Figure 5.1: Adjustment ranges of the projector mount.
5.1 Height Adjustment:
The mount allows for height adjustment between 380mm and 580mm. Loosen the locking mechanism on the telescopic pole, adjust to the desired height, and then securely tighten the mechanism to fix the position.
5.2 Tilt Adjustment:
The projector can be tilted up to ±15° (forward/backward). Loosen the tilt adjustment screws, set the desired angle, and then firmly tighten the screws to secure the tilt position.
5.3 Rotation Adjustment:
The projector can be rotated 360° horizontally. Loosen the rotation locking screw, turn the projector to the desired orientation, and then tighten the screw to lock it in place.
6. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the mount with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Periodic Inspection: Regularly check all screws and connections to ensure they are tight and secure. Over time, vibrations or adjustments may cause screws to loosen.
- Weight Check: Ensure the projector's weight does not exceed the mount's maximum capacity.
7. Troubleshooting
7.1 Projector Not Stable / Sags:
- Check Weight: Verify that your projector's weight does not exceed the 13.5 kg (30 lbs) limit.
- Tighten Screws: Ensure all screws, especially those connecting the projector to the arms and the pole sections, are securely tightened.
- Ceiling Connection: Confirm the ceiling mounting plate is firmly attached to a structurally sound part of the ceiling.
7.2 Difficulty Adjusting Tilt/Rotation:
- Loosen Locking Screws: Ensure the relevant locking screws for tilt or rotation are sufficiently loosened before attempting to adjust.
- Lubrication: If movement is stiff, a small amount of silicone-based lubricant can be applied to moving parts (avoiding electrical components), but this should rarely be necessary.
7.3 Cables Not Fitting Through Management Channel:
- Cable Diameter: The channel is designed for standard cables. Very thick or multiple bulky cables may not fit. Consider using thinner cables or external cable ties if necessary.
- Routing: Ensure cables are routed smoothly without kinks or sharp bends.
