2. Safety Information

  • Do not look directly into the projector lens when the lamp is on.
  • Ensure proper ventilation to prevent overheating. Do not block ventilation openings.

5. Setup

5.1 Powering On

  1. Connect the provided EU power adapter to the projector's power input.
  2. Plug the adapter into a power outlet.
  3. Press the power button on the projector or remote control to turn it on.

The projector can also be powered via a Micro USB cable (not included) for increased portability, especially when using a power bank. Note that brightness may be reduced when powered this way.

5.2 Focus Adjustment

Adjust the focus wheel located on the side of the projector until the image appears clear and sharp on your projection surface.

5.3 Placement and Screen Size

Position the projector between 0.8 to 2 meters from the projection surface to achieve an optimal screen size of 0.6 to 1.5 meters (24 to 60 inches) diagonally. The best image quality is achieved in a dark room.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Selecting Input Sources

Use the 'Source' button on the projector or remote control to cycle through available input options: HDMI, USB, SD Card, and AV.

6.2 Media Playback

The projector supports various media formats:

6.3 Audio Output

The projector features a built-in speaker. For enhanced audio, connect external speakers or headphones to the 3.5mm audio jack.

6.4 Smartphone Connection

  • For iPhone: An "iPhone to HDMI cable" (not included) is required for a wired connection.
  • For Android: An MHL cable (not included) is required for a wired connection.

7. Maintenance

7.1 Cleaning

  • Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the projector's exterior.
  • For the lens, use a lens cleaning cloth and specialized lens cleaning solution. Avoid touching the lens directly.
  • Regularly check and clean the ventilation openings to ensure proper airflow.

7.2 Storage

When not in use, store the projector in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. It is recommended to use a protective cover or bag to prevent dust accumulation.

8. Troubleshooting

  • No Image or Dim Image: Ensure the room is sufficiently dark. The projector performs best in completely dark environments. Check power connections and input source selection.
  • Blurry Image: Adjust the focus wheel on the side of the projector. Ensure the projection distance is within the recommended range (0.8-2 meters).
  • No Sound: Check the projector's volume settings. If using external speakers, ensure they are properly connected and powered.
  • Overheating/Loud Fan Noise: Ensure ventilation openings are not blocked. Operate the projector in a well-ventilated area. Some fan noise is normal during operation.
  • Smartphone Connection Issues: For wired connections, ensure you are using the correct adapter cable (iPhone to HDMI for iOS, MHL cable for Android).
  • Pixelated Text/Image: The native resolution of 320x240 pixels means text and fine details may appear pixelated, especially when enlarged. This projector is designed for general entertainment, not detailed presentations.
