- Attach Casters to the Base: Turn the base frame upside down. Attach the locking casters to the front end of the base (the side with the wider gap for feet when standing). Attach the regular casters to the rear. Use the provided wrench to tighten the nuts closest to the wheel to secure them. The other nut is for height adjustment.
- Install Vertical Support Bars: Insert the vertical support bars into the base. Ensure the arms with the adjustment knobs are facing inwards, towards the center of the desk. Secure them from the bottom using the provided screws.
- Attach Crossbar: Connect the crossbar between the two vertical support bars. This piece forms the base for the lower shelves. Secure it with screws.
- Install Bottom Shelf: Place the bottom shelf onto the designated supports on the base. This shelf has screw openings closer to the edge of the wood, aligning with the long leg part on the bottom. Secure with screws.
- Install Middle Shelf: Position the middle shelf onto the supports above the crossbar. This shelf is designed to fit in one orientation. Secure with screws.
- Install Top Shelf: Place the top shelf onto the upper supports. This shelf also has specific cut-out holes to sit flat over the screws used for the upper arms. Secure with screws.

Operating Instructions
Height Adjustment
The top shelves of the MI-7940 desk are adjustable through 11 locking intervals, allowing you to switch between sitting and standing positions. The height can be adjusted from 37.25 inches to 54.7 inches.
- To Raise: Loosen the adjustment knobs on both vertical support bars. With hands on both sides of the top platform, lift the platform upwards. You will hear a click at each locking interval. Once the desired height is reached, tighten both adjustment knobs securely.
- To Lower: Loosen the adjustment knobs on both vertical support bars. Lift the platform all the way up until it reaches the maximum height (indicated by a 'MAX' line). Lift it slightly further (about an inch) until the internal locks release. Slowly guide the platform downwards to your desired height. Once the desired height is reached, tighten both adjustment knobs securely.

Mobility
The desk is equipped with 1.5-inch smooth-rolling casters for easy movement across various surfaces. Two of these casters include brakes for securing the desk in a stationary position.
- To Move: Ensure the two locking casters (located at the front of the base) are disengaged. Gently push or pull the desk to its desired location.
- To Secure: Once the desk is in position, press down on the levers of the two locking casters until they click into place. This will prevent the desk from rolling.

Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals that may damage the finish.
- Fasteners: Periodically check all screws and bolts to ensure they are tight. Re-tighten if necessary to maintain stability.
- Casters: Keep casters free of debris to ensure smooth rolling.
Troubleshooting
- Desk is unstable/wobbly: Ensure all assembly screws are securely tightened. Verify that the adjustment knobs for height are fully tightened after setting the desired height. Adjust the leveling nuts on the casters if the floor is uneven.
- Difficulty adjusting height: Ensure both adjustment knobs are sufficiently loosened before attempting to raise or lower the platform. If lowering, remember to lift the platform to its maximum height first to release the internal locks.
- Casters not rolling smoothly: Check for any hair or debris caught in the caster wheels. Clean as necessary. Ensure locking casters are disengaged.
