Setup

1. Unpack: Carefully remove the HoMedics Shiatsu Select Foot Massager from its packaging.
2. Placement: Place the massager on a flat, stable surface in front of a chair or sofa where you intend to use it. Ensure the surface is clear of any obstructions.
3. Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a standard electrical outlet. Ensure the cord is not a tripping hazard.
4. Positioning: Sit comfortably and place your feet onto the foot pads of the massager.

Operating Instructions

The HoMedics Shiatsu Select Foot Massager is designed for ease of use with its convenient toe-touch control.

1. Power On/Massage Activation: To turn on the massager and activate the deep-kneading Shiatsu massage, gently press the power button located in the center of the unit with your toe. The button will illuminate blue, indicating the massage function is active.
2. Activate Heat Function: To add soothing heat to your massage, press the power button a second time with your toe. The button will illuminate red, indicating both massage and heat functions are active. The heat will gradually warm the massage nodes for added comfort.
3. Adjust Pressure: Apply more or less pressure with your feet onto the massage nodes to customize the intensity of the massage to your preference.
4. Power Off: To turn off the massager, press the power button a third time with your toe. The light will turn off, and the unit will cease operation.

For optimal results, use the massager for 15-minute sessions. The unit features an automatic shut-off after 15 minutes for safety and convenience.

Maintenance

• Cleaning: Always unplug the appliance before cleaning. Wipe the unit with a soft, damp cloth. Never use abrasive cleaners, brushes, gasoline, kerosene, glass/furniture polish, or paint thinner to clean the massager.
• Storage: Store the appliance in a cool, dry place. Avoid contact with sharp edges or pointed objects which might cut or puncture the fabric surface. Do not wrap the power cord around the unit.
