2. Connecting Peripherals

Power On/Off
- To Power On: Press the power button located on the front of the desktop.
- To Shut Down: Click the Start button in Windows, then select Power > Shut down.
- To Restart: Click the Start button in Windows, then select Power > Restart.
Using the Optical Drive
The desktop includes a DVD-Writer. To use it, press the eject button on the drive bay cover to open the tray, insert a disc, and close the tray. Windows will typically prompt you for action or you can access the drive through 'This PC'.
Connecting to the Internet
- Wired Connection: If an Ethernet cable is connected, the system should automatically detect the network.
- Wireless Connection: In Windows 10, click the network icon in the taskbar, select your Wi-Fi network, enter the password, and click Connect.
Maintenance
Cleaning
