Operating Instructions

Follow these steps for safe and effective operation of your FUXTEC FX-LBS126.

1. Starting the Engine

  1. Place the device on a flat, stable surface.
  2. Ensure the fuel tank is filled with the correct fuel mixture.
  3. Press the primer bulb several times until fuel is visible in the return line.
  4. Set the choke lever to the "START" (closed) position.
  5. Pull the starter cord firmly and smoothly until the engine briefly fires.
  6. Once the engine fires, immediately move the choke lever to the "RUN" (open) position.
  7. Pull the starter cord again until the engine starts and runs smoothly.
  8. Allow the engine to warm up for a few moments before applying full throttle.

2. Using the Blower Function

Direct the blower tube towards the debris you wish to clear. Use a sweeping motion to gather leaves into piles. The throttle lock feature allows for comfortable extended operation at a consistent speed.

3. Using the Vacuum and Shredder Function

Lower the vacuum tube close to the ground and move it over the leaves. The powerful suction will draw leaves into the unit, where the metal impeller will shred them before they enter the collection bag. Empty the collection bag regularly to maintain optimal performance.

4. Stopping the Engine

To stop the engine, move the throttle to the idle position and then press the engine stop switch to the "OFF" position.

Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your FUXTEC FX-LBS126.

  • Air Filter: Clean the air filter regularly, especially after dusty operations. Replace if damaged or excessively dirty.
  • Spark Plug: Inspect the spark plug periodically. Clean or replace if fouled or worn. Ensure correct gap.
  • Fuel System: Drain the fuel tank and carburetor if storing the device for an extended period (over 30 days) to prevent fuel degradation issues.
  • Cleaning: Keep the exterior of the device clean, especially cooling fins and air intakes, to prevent overheating.
  • Shredder Impeller: Periodically inspect the metal shredder impeller for damage or excessive wear.
  • Lubrication: Follow manufacturer recommendations for any lubrication points.
  • Fuel/Oil Recommendation: For optimal and durable operation, FUXTEC recommends using original FUXTEC oils.
