Important Safeguards

Read all instructions before using this appliance.

• Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.
• To protect against electrical shock, do not immerse cord, plug, or appliance in water or other liquid.
• Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
• Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool before putting on or taking off parts.
• Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance malfunctions or has been damaged in any manner.
• The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the appliance manufacturer may cause injuries.
• Do not use outdoors.
• Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter, or touch hot surfaces.

• Extreme caution must be used when moving an appliance containing hot oil or other hot liquids.
• To disconnect, turn any control to "off", then remove plug from wall outlet.
• Do not use appliance for other than intended use.
• Oversize foods or metal utensils must not be inserted in a toaster oven as they may create a fire or risk of electric shock.
• A fire may occur if the toaster oven is covered or touching flammable material, including curtains, draperies, walls, and the like, when in operation.
• Do not place any materials other than manufacturer's recommended accessories in this oven when not in use.
• Do not place paper, cardboard, plastic, or other flammable materials in the oven.
• Do not cover crumb tray or any part of the oven with metal foil. This will cause overheating of the oven.
• The timer knob acts as a safety feature to ensure the appliance is not left on indefinitely.

Setup

1. Unpack the toaster oven and remove all packaging materials, including any internal packing.
2. Place the toaster oven on a stable, heat-resistant surface, ensuring adequate clearance (at least 4 inches) from walls or other appliances for proper ventilation.
3. Wash the baking rack and baking pan in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely before first use.
4. Insert the crumb tray into its designated slot at the bottom of the oven.
5. Plug the power cord into a standard 120V AC electrical outlet.

Operating Instructions

General Operation

The toaster oven features two main control dials: the Temperature/Mode dial and the Time (Min) dial.

Temperature/Mode Dial

This dial allows you to select the cooking function and temperature.

• OFF: Turns the oven off.
• BROIL: Activates the top heating elements for broiling.
• BAKE: Activates both top and bottom heating elements for baking.
• TOAST: Activates both top and bottom heating elements for toasting.
• Temperature settings: Adjustable from 150°F to 450°F.

Time (Min) Dial

This dial sets the cooking duration. It also functions as the ON/OFF switch for the heating elements.

• Turn the dial clockwise to set the desired cooking time (up to 30 minutes).
• For continuous operation, turn the dial counter-clockwise to the "Stay On" position.
• The oven will automatically turn off and ding when the set time expires.
• For toasting, select "Light", "Med", or "Dark" settings.

Using the Toaster Oven

Toasting

1. Place bread slices or bagel halves directly on the baking rack. The oven can accommodate up to 4 slices of bread.
2. Close the oven door.
3. Turn the Temperature/Mode dial to TOAST.
4. Turn the Time (Min) dial to your desired toast shade (Light, Med, Dark). The power indicator light will illuminate.
5. The oven will automatically shut off and ding when toasting is complete.

Baking

1. Place food on the baking pan.
2. Insert the baking pan with food onto the baking rack.
3. Close the oven door.
4. Turn the Temperature/Mode dial to BAKE and select the desired temperature.
5. Turn the Time (Min) dial to the desired baking time. The power indicator light will illuminate.
6. The oven will automatically shut off and ding when baking is complete.

Broiling

1. Place food on the baking pan. For best results, position food closer to the top heating element.
2. Insert the baking pan with food onto the baking rack.
3. Close the oven door.
4. Turn the Temperature/Mode dial to BROIL.
5. Turn the Time (Min) dial to the desired broiling time. The power indicator light will illuminate.
6. Monitor food closely as broiling is a fast cooking method.
7. The oven will automatically shut off and ding when broiling is complete.

Maintenance and Cleaning

Always unplug the toaster oven from the electrical outlet and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.

Cleaning the Interior

To clean the interior, wipe with a damp cloth and mild liquid soap solution. Do not use abrasive cleaners or steel wool pads.

Cleaning the Exterior

Wipe the exterior with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the toaster oven in water.

Cleaning Accessories

The baking rack and baking pan are dishwasher-safe for easy cleaning. The crumb tray should be removed and emptied regularly. Wash the crumb tray in warm, soapy water.

Storage

Ensure the appliance is clean and dry before storing. Store in a cool, dry place.
