5. Setup
5.1 Power Supply
The BR630 can be powered by two (2) AA batteries or via the DC IN port using the provided USB power cable.
- Battery Installation: Open the battery compartment cover on the back of the device. Insert two AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-). Close the cover securely.
- DC IN Power: Connect the small end of the USB power cable to the DC IN port on the side of the player. Connect the USB-A end to a standard USB power adapter (not included) or a computer USB port.

5.2 Connecting Headphones
For private listening, plug the included headphones (or any standard 3.5mm headphones) into the Earphone Jack on the side of the device.
6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Cassette Playback
- Open the cassette compartment cover.
- Insert a cassette tape with the open edge facing upwards.
- Close the cassette compartment cover.
- Press the PLAY button to start playback.
- Adjust the Volume Control to your desired listening level.
- Use the FF (Fast Forward) or REW (Rewind) buttons to navigate through the tape.
- Press the STOP button to end playback.
6.2 Auto-Reverse Function
The BR630 features an auto-reverse function for continuous playback.
- During playback, press the DIR button to change the playback direction. The tape will automatically reverse and continue playing the other side.
- Some models may have a REVMODE switch for continuous auto-reverse or single-pass auto-reverse. Refer to the device markings for specific functionality.
6.3 Radio Operation
- Extend the Radio Antenna for optimal reception.
- Slide the Tape to Radio Option switch (or similar mode switch) to the "Radio" position.

6.4 Voice Recording

7. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the exterior of the device. Do not use liquid cleaners or solvents.
- Tape Head Cleaning: Periodically clean the tape heads with a cotton swab lightly dampened with isopropyl alcohol to ensure optimal sound quality.
- Storage: Store the device in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Remove batteries if the device will not be used for an extended period.
- Battery Care: Replace batteries when audio quality degrades or the device stops functioning. Do not mix old and new batteries, or different types of batteries.
