1. Cleaning the Screen
To clean the screen, gently wipe it with a soft, lint-free cloth. For stubborn marks, lightly dampen the cloth with water or a specialized screen cleaner. Never spray liquid directly onto the screen.
2. General Care
- Avoid placing the TV in direct sunlight or near heat sources.
- Ensure adequate ventilation around the TV.
- Unplug the TV from the power outlet during lightning storms or when it will be left unattended for long periods.
Troubleshooting
Before contacting customer support, try the following solutions for common issues:
| Problem | Possible Solution |
|---|---|
| No Power | Ensure the power cord is securely plugged into both the TV and the wall outlet. Check if the outlet is working by plugging in another device. |
| No Picture, but Sound is Present | Check the input source. Ensure the connected device is powered on and functioning correctly. Try a different HDMI cable. |
| No Sound, but Picture is Present | Check the TV's volume and mute settings. If using external audio, ensure the correct audio output setting (e.g., PCM for optical) is selected on the TV and the external device is powered on. |
| Remote Control Not Working | Replace the batteries. Ensure there are no obstructions between the remote and the TV's IR sensor. |
| Obnoxious Light at Bottom of Screen | This is the power indicator light. If it is too bright, a small piece of opaque tape can be placed over it. |
