5. Water Resistance

This watch has a water resistance depth of 100 meters. This means it is suitable for swimming and snorkeling, but not for scuba diving. Avoid operating buttons underwater to prevent water ingress.

Maintenance

1. Cleaning Your Watch

Regularly clean your watch with a soft, dry cloth. For water-resistant models, a slightly damp cloth can be used, followed by drying. Avoid using chemical cleaners, solvents, or abrasive materials, as these can damage the watch case, strap, or seals.

2. Battery Replacement

When the watch hands stop moving or the digital display becomes dim or unresponsive, the battery may need replacement. Battery replacement should be performed by a qualified watch technician or an authorized service center to ensure proper sealing and maintain water resistance.

3. Water Resistance Care

  • Do not operate the crown or buttons when the watch is wet or submerged in water.
  • Avoid exposing the watch to extreme temperature changes (e.g., hot showers, saunas) as this can affect the water-resistant seals.
  • Have the water resistance seals checked periodically, especially after battery replacement, to ensure they are intact.

Troubleshooting

  • Analog hands not moving: Check if the crown is pushed in completely. If it is, the battery may be depleted. Seek professional battery replacement.
  • Digital display blank or dim: The battery may be low. Replace the battery at an authorized service center.
  • Digital time incorrect: Refer to the "Setting Digital Time and Date" section in this manual to reset the time.
  • Water inside the watch: Immediately take the watch to an authorized service center. Do not attempt to open or dry it yourself, as this can cause further damage.
