Setup

1. Initial Cleaning: Before using the kettle for the first time, fill it to the MAX line with cold water, boil, and then discard the water. Repeat this process once or twice to ensure cleanliness.
2. Placement: Place the power base on a dry, stable, heat-resistant surface. The cordless kettle can be freely positioned on its 360-degree base.
3. Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a suitable electrical outlet.

Operating Instructions

1. Fill the Kettle: Open the lid and fill the kettle with the desired amount of cold water. Ensure the water level is between the 'MIN' and 'MAX' marks on the water level indicator. Close the lid securely.

2. Select Temperature: Use the temperature control dial on the base to select your desired water temperature: 60°C/140°F, 70°C/158°F, 80°C/176°F, 90°C/194°F, or 100°C/212°F (Boil).
3. Start Boiling: Press the manual on/off switch. The LED indicator will illuminate, signifying that the kettle is heating.

4. Automatic Shut-off: The kettle will automatically switch off once the selected temperature is reached. The LED indicator will turn off.
5. Keep Warm Function: If the warming function is activated (check specific model features for activation method, usually a separate button or part of the temperature selection), the kettle will maintain the selected temperature for up to 30 minutes.
6. Pouring: Carefully lift the kettle from its base and pour the hot water. The spout is designed to prevent drips.

Maintenance

Regular cleaning and descaling will prolong the life of your kettle and ensure optimal performance.

1. Exterior Cleaning: Wipe the exterior of the kettle with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads.
2. Descaling: Limescale can build up over time, especially in hard water areas. Remove and clean the filter regularly. For descaling the interior, use a descaling product specifically designed for kettles. Follow the product's instructions carefully.
3. Storage: When not in use, ensure the kettle is clean and dry. Store it in a cool, dry place.

Troubleshooting

• Kettle not heating: Ensure the kettle is correctly placed on the power base and the power cord is securely plugged into a working outlet. Check if the power switch is pressed and the LED indicator is on.
• Water not reaching desired temperature: Verify that the correct temperature setting has been selected on the dial.
• Automatic shut-off not working: If the kettle does not shut off automatically, unplug it immediately and contact customer support.
• Unusual taste or odor in water: Perform the initial cleaning steps again. If the issue persists, descale the kettle.
