WOYO PL001

WOYO PL001 Car Key Fob RF Frequency and IR Remote Control Tester User Manual

1. Introduction

The WOYO PL001 is a versatile diagnostic tool designed to test the radio frequency (RF) and infrared (IR) signals emitted by various remote controls. It provides a wide frequency detection range from 10MHz to 1000MHz, with a display precision of 0.1MHz, covering common frequencies such as 315MHz, 433MHz, 868MHz, and 902MHz. This device is suitable for testing car key fobs, garage door remotes, and most home appliance remote controls that utilize IR signals.

4. Maintenance

To ensure the longevity and proper functioning of your WOYO PL001 tester:

  • Keep the device clean by wiping it with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Store the device in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • Remove the 9V battery if the device will not be used for an extended period to prevent battery leakage.

5. Troubleshooting

5.1. Inaccurate or Fluctuating Readings

The PL001 tester is a sensitive electronic device. Interference from other electronic devices can affect its accuracy. To ensure reliable results:

  • Perform tests away from other electrical devices such as mobile phones, computers, smartwatches, Wi-Fi routers, and LED lights. These devices can interfere with frequency detection.
  • Consider activating Airplane Mode on nearby mobile phones during testing.
