1. Introduction

The HAIFUAN Digital Door Lock offers multiple access methods including M1 Card, Pass Code, and Mechanical Key. Designed for convenience and security, it features voice navigation during operation, keypad illumination, and adjustable standard latch options. This lock supports up to 100 user codes and 800 M1 cards, with an additional capacity for 120 remote controls (remote control sold separately). It also includes a 'Stay Unlocked' mode for flexible access. Certified with CE, it features laser-cut keys and a hidden keyhole for enhanced security.

2. Package Contents

Please verify that all components are present in your package:

3. Installation

3.1. Handle Direction Adjustment

If you need to change the handle direction (e.g., for right-hand orientation), use the provided Allen key to remove the screw in the handle. Pull the handle out, turn it 180 degrees, and then reinstall it. This process is shown in the initial part of the installation video.

3.2. Preparing the Door

Before installation, use the drilling template to mark and create the necessary holes on your door. This lock requires an extra small hole on top for the data line and fitting screws, in addition to the main boreholes.

3.3. Installation Steps

1. Install Latch: Select the appropriate latch (2-3/8" or 2-3/4" backset) from the package. Insert it into the door edge and secure it with the two provided screws.
2. Install Front Panel: Insert the three bolt screw tubes into the front panel. Then, install the spindle and secure it with the small PIN.
3. Place Rubber Cushion (Front): Place a rubber cushion under the front panel. Carefully guide the spindle through the latch and the data line through the door hole.
4. Place Rubber Cushion (Back) & Connect Data Line: Place the second rubber cushion under the back panel. Connect the data line between the front and back panels. Ensure both panels are tight against the door.
5. Secure & Power: Fix the three main screws to secure the lock. Install 4 AA alkaline batteries (not included) into the battery compartment. Close the battery case and fix it with the small screw.
6. Test Mechanical Keys: Remove the keyhole cover. Insert and test the mechanical keys to ensure smooth operation. Make any necessary adjustments.
7. Test Default Code: Input the default factory code 123456# on the keypad. Turn the handle to verify that the lock opens.
8. Reset (If Default Code Fails): If the default code 123456# does not work, remove the battery case. Locate the reset button (near the batteries) and press and hold it for 6 seconds. Then, try the default code again.

4. Programming and Operating

After successful installation, proceed with programming your lock. It is crucial to change the initial admin code before adding any users.

4.1. Change Admin Code (Step 1)

You must change the initial admin code to add users. The new admin code should be 6-10 digits long.

• Input: *# → 123456# → 1 → Input a new admin code → # → Input the new admin code again → #
• (System will alert "successful")

4.2. Add Code Users (Step 2)

This lock can program up to 100 user codes. User codes should be 6-10 digits long.

• Input: *# → the new admin code → # → 2 → Input a new user code → #
• (System will alert "successful")
• Repeat the last step to add more user codes.

4.3. Add Card Users (Step 3)

This lock can program up to 800 M1 cards.

• Input: *# → the new admin code → # → 2 → Place a card on the keypad.
• (System will alert "successful")
• Repeat the last step to add more cards.

4.4. Add Remote Control Users (Step 4)

This lock can program up to 120 remote controls (remote control sold separately).

• Input: *# → the new admin code → # → 2 → Press the unlock button on the remote control.

• Repeat the last step to add more remote controls.

5. Maintenance

• Battery Replacement: The lock requires 4 AA alkaline batteries. Replace them when the low battery indicator appears or voice prompts indicate low power.
• Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the lock's surface. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the finish or electronic components.
• Regular Checks: Periodically check all screws and components to ensure they are secure.

• Lock Not Responding: Check battery levels and replace if necessary. Ensure the data line connection between panels is secure.
• Code Not Working: Verify that the correct admin or user code is being entered. If issues persist, try resetting the lock to factory default (refer to Installation Step 8).
• Handle Not Engaging: Ensure the spindle is correctly aligned and inserted through the latch.
