Setup Instructions
- Prepare the Surface: Clean the back of your TV or monitor thoroughly to remove any dust, dirt, or oils. A clean surface ensures optimal adhesion of the LED strip.
- Plan Your Route: Before peeling the adhesive, temporarily position the LED strip around the back edges of your TV to determine the best placement. Ensure the USB cable can reach a USB port on your TV or a separate USB power adapter. The strip is designed to go around corners easily.
- Peel and Stick: Carefully peel off the red protective backing from the 3M adhesive on the back of the LED strip. Begin attaching the strip from one corner, pressing down firmly as you go.
- Attach the LED Strip: Press the LED strip firmly onto the back of your TV, following your planned route. Apply consistent pressure to ensure good contact with the surface. The flexible design allows for easy application around corners.
- Connect to Power: Plug the USB connector of the Luminoodle LED strip into an available USB port on your TV or a USB wall adapter.

Operating Instructions
Using the Wireless Remote Control
The included wireless remote allows you to fully control your Luminoodle LED TV Backlight. Ensure the remote has a working CR2 battery (1 required) and is pointed towards the in-line controller on the LED strip.
- ON/OFF: Press the 'ON' button to turn the lights on, and 'OFF' to turn them off.
- Brightness Adjustment: Use the '+' and '-' buttons under 'BRIGHT' to increase or decrease the brightness (10 levels available).
- Color Selection: Use the '<' and '>' buttons under 'COLOR' to cycle through the 15 available colors. Alternatively, press one of the colored buttons directly for a specific color.
- Mode Selection: Press the 'MODE' button to activate the fade mode.
In-Line Controller
The LED strip also features an in-line controller for basic functions, which acts as the receiver for the wireless remote. This can be used if the remote is unavailable.
Automatic Power On/Off
When connected to a TV's USB port, the Luminoodle LED strip is designed to turn on and off with your TV. If your TV's USB port does not power down when the TV is off, you may need to manually turn off the lights using the remote or in-line controller.

- Cleaning: To clean the LED strip, gently wipe it with a dry, soft cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners or abrasive materials.
- Adhesive Care: The 3M adhesive is designed for long-lasting hold. Avoid repositioning the strip frequently, as this can weaken the adhesive.
- Storage: If removing the strip for storage, ensure it is clean and dry. Store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
Troubleshooting
- Lights not turning on:
- Check if the USB connector is securely plugged into a working USB port.
- Ensure your TV is powered on, or try plugging the USB into a separate USB wall adapter.
- Verify the remote control battery is installed correctly and has power.
- Try using the in-line controller to turn the lights on.
- Remote control not working:
- Replace the CR2 battery in the remote.
- Ensure there are no obstructions between the remote and the in-line controller.
- Confirm the remote is pointed directly at the in-line controller.
- Adhesive not sticking:
- Ensure the TV surface was clean and dry before application.
- Apply firm pressure evenly across the strip during installation.
- Avoid repositioning the strip multiple times.
