4.3. Important Installation Guidelines
- This product activates only in dark spaces. Its light sensor detects ambient brightness and remains off in well-lit conditions. Therefore, install in dim/dark areas.
- Never mount the light fixture in high-temperature zones, as heat weakens the adhesive and causes the fixture to detach. Installation in room-temperature environments is recommended to ensure secure, long-lasting adhesion.
- Avoid mounting two lights too close together, as this may interfere with their motion sensing capabilities.
- Do not face the lights towards vents or mount them in moist places.

5. Operating Instructions
The AMIR Motion Sensor Light is designed for automatic, hands-free operation:
- Automatic Activation: The light will automatically turn on when its PIR motion sensor detects movement within approximately 10 feet (3 meters) in a dark environment.
- Automatic Deactivation: The light will automatically turn off approximately 15 seconds after no motion is detected. This feature helps prolong battery life.
- Light Sensor Functionality: The integrated light sensor ensures the unit only activates in low-light conditions, preventing unnecessary illumination during daylight hours.

6. Maintenance
6.1. Battery Replacement
When the light output diminishes or the unit stops activating, it is time to replace the batteries. Follow the battery installation steps in Section 4.1. Always replace all 3 AAA batteries at once with new ones for optimal performance.
6.2. Cleaning
To clean the light unit, gently wipe it with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the unit in water.
7. Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Light does not turn on. | 1. Batteries are dead or incorrectly inserted. 2. Ambient light is too bright. 3. No motion detected within range. | 1. Replace batteries, ensuring correct polarity. 2. Move the light to a darker area. 3. Ensure motion occurs within 10 feet of the sensor. |
| Light turns on too frequently. | 1. Placed in a high-traffic area. 2. Interference from other light sources or heat. | 1. Relocate the light to a less active area. 2. Ensure the light is not near heat sources or facing vents. |
| Light falls off mounting surface. | 1. Adhesive weakened by heat or improper application. 2. Surface not clean or dry. | 1. Reapply adhesive to a clean, room-temperature surface. 2. Ensure surface is clean and dry before applying adhesive. |
