Setup Guide
1. Power Connection
Connect the provided 230V AC power adapter to the DC input port on the back of the alarm clock. Plug the adapter into a standard wall outlet. The display will illuminate, and the clock will be ready for initial setup.
2. Battery Backup Installation
For time and setting retention during power outages, install 2 AAA batteries (not included) into the battery compartment located on the bottom of the unit. Ensure correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment.
3. Initial Time Setting
Upon first power-up or after a power outage without battery backup, the time display may flash. To set the time:
- Press and hold the TIME SET button (often labeled with a clock icon) until the hour digits flash.
- Use the HR (Hour) and MIN (Minute) buttons to adjust the time.
- Press TIME SET again to confirm and exit time setting mode.
4. Antenna Setup
For optimal FM radio reception, fully extend the wire antenna located at the back of the unit. Position it for the best signal quality.

1. Setting Alarms (Alarm 1 & Alarm 2)
The CR50 features two independent alarms. To set an alarm:
- Press and hold the ALARM 1 or ALARM 2 button until the alarm time flashes.
- Use the HR and MIN buttons to set the desired alarm time.
- Press the ALARM 1 or ALARM 2 button again to select the alarm source (Buzzer or Radio). An indicator will appear on the display.
- Press the ALARM 1 or ALARM 2 button one more time to confirm and activate the alarm.
To deactivate an alarm, press the corresponding ALARM button until the alarm indicator disappears from the display.
2. Snooze Function
When the alarm sounds, press the large SNOOZE button to temporarily silence the alarm for approximately 9 minutes. The alarm will sound again after this period. To stop the alarm completely, press the POWER button.
3. Radio Operation (FM)
- Press the POWER button to turn on the radio.
- Press the FM button to select FM band.
- Use the TUNE + or TUNE - buttons to manually tune to a desired frequency. Press and hold for automatic scanning to the next available station.
- To save a station as a preset:
- Tune to the desired station.
- Press the MEM (Memory) button. The preset number will flash.
- Use the TUNE + or TUNE - buttons to select the desired preset number (P01-P20).
- Press MEM again to confirm.
- To recall a preset station, press the MEM button repeatedly to cycle through saved stations, or use the PRESET + / PRESET - buttons.
- Adjust volume using the VOL + / VOL - buttons.
- Press the POWER button to turn off the radio.
4. Display Brightness Adjustment
The display brightness can be adjusted to suit your preference. Press the DIMMER button (often labeled with a sun icon) repeatedly to cycle through different brightness levels (e.g., High, Low, Off).
5. Sleep Timer Function
The sleep timer allows the radio to play for a set duration before automatically turning off. To activate:
- While the radio is playing, press the SLEEP button (often labeled with a crescent moon icon).
- Repeatedly press the SLEEP button to cycle through available sleep timer durations (e.g., 10, 20, 30, 60, 90 minutes, or OFF).
- The radio will automatically turn off after the selected time.
Maintenance
Cleaning
To clean the unit, unplug it from the power outlet. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the surfaces. Do not use abrasive cleaners, waxes, or solvents as they may damage the finish. Avoid getting moisture into any openings.
Battery Replacement
If the clock display or settings are lost during a brief power interruption, the backup batteries may be depleted. Replace the 2 AAA batteries in the battery compartment, ensuring correct polarity.
Troubleshooting
