Important Safety Information

- Ensure the fireplace is plugged into a 120V outlet. This unit CANNOT be hard-wired.
- Do not operate the fireplace with a damaged cord or plug, or after the heater malfunctions or has been dropped or damaged in any manner.
- Keep combustible materials, such as furniture, pillows, bedding, papers, clothes, and curtains at least 3 feet (0.9 m) from the front of the heater.
- This electric fireplace is intended for supplemental heat only and is NOT a main heat source.
- Do not insert or allow foreign objects to enter any ventilation or exhaust opening as this may cause an electric shock or fire, or damage the heater.
- Always unplug the fireplace when not in use.

Setup and Installation
The PuraFlame Western Electric Fireplace Insert is designed for easy installation. With its flat bottom, the insert can simply sit directly on the floor within a suitable opening.
Dimensions and Fit
Before ordering or installing, please ensure your opening meets the required dimensions. The overall dimensions of the unit are 35 1/16" W x 26 31/32" H x 8 25/32" D. The firebox dimensions are 32 1/8" W x 25 9/16" H x 7 51/64" D.

For optimal fit, the recommended opening dimensions are: Width: min 32.3" - max 34.3", Height: min 25.6" - max 26.6", Depth: suggest 8.1" (minimum 7.8").
Power Connection
Simply plug the unit into a standard 120V electrical outlet. Ensure the outlet is easily accessible. The unit is designed for plug-in use and cannot be hard-wired.

Operating Instructions
Your PuraFlame electric fireplace can be operated using either the included remote control or the manual controls located on the unit.
Remote Control Functions

- ON/OFF Button: Powers the unit on or off.
- FLAME Button: Cycles through 3 flame intensity settings. The flame effect can be used independently of the heat.
- HEATER Buttons (750W / 1500W): Activates the fan heater at either 750 watts (low heat) or 1500 watts (high heat).
- CRACKLING Button: Cycles through 6 crackling sound options, simulating a real wood-burning fire.
Manual Controls

The manual controls are located behind a small access panel on the top right of the unit. These controls mirror the remote control functions, allowing you to adjust the ON/OFF, flame settings, heater output, and thermostat.
- ON/OFF Switch: Main power switch.
- Flame Button: Adjusts flame intensity (3 settings).
- Heater Switch: Selects between 750W and 1500W heat output.
- Thermostat Dial: Adjusts the desired room temperature. The heater will cycle on and off to maintain this setting.
The unit features a life-like resin log set, 11 13/16" high, sitting on a grate above an ember bed, mimicking a real wood-burning fireplace. The fuel bed has a depth of 7.5 inches.

Maintenance
The PuraFlame electric fireplace is designed for minimal maintenance. Unlike traditional fireplaces, there is no need for cleaning dust or ashes.
- Ensure the unit is unplugged and cool before cleaning.
- Wipe the exterior surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Periodically check the air outlet for any obstructions and clear if necessary.
Troubleshooting
