Setup

Unpacking and Initial Charge

  1. Remove the Kizen Outdoor Solar Lantern from its packaging.
  2. It is recommended to fully charge the lantern before first use. You can charge it via solar energy or the included USB cable.

Expanding and Collapsing the Lantern

The lantern features a collapsible design for compact storage and versatile use.

  • To Expand: Gently pull the top piece upwards until the accordion-style body is fully extended and locks into place.

Operating the Lantern

Light Modes

The lantern offers multiple light modes for different needs. Press the power button located on the side to cycle through the modes:

Charging the Lantern and Other Devices

Solar Charging

The lantern features a built-in solar panel on the top. Place the lantern in direct sunlight to charge the internal battery. A red indicator light will illuminate when charging via solar power.

USB Charging

For faster charging or when sunlight is unavailable, use the provided USB cable. Plug the micro-USB end into the lantern's charging port and the USB-A end into a compatible USB power source (e.g., wall adapter, power bank). A full charge typically takes approximately 4 hours.

Power Bank Function

The Kizen Outdoor Solar Lantern can also serve as a portable power bank to charge your mobile devices. Open the protective cover on the side to reveal the USB-A output port. Connect your device's charging cable to this port to begin charging.
