4. Setup
4.1. Battery Installation and Removal
The DCD795N operates with DEWALT 18V XR Li-Ion battery packs (not included). Ensure the battery is fully charged before use.
- To Install: Align the battery pack with the receptacle on the tool's handle. Slide the battery pack firmly into the tool until it locks into place.

4.2. Chuck Operation and Bit Installation

5.2. Speed Selection
The tool has a two-speed gearbox, controlled by a slide switch on top of the tool:
