1. Introduction

This manual provides essential information for the safe and efficient operation of your GPX TDU5045B 50" 4K Ultra HD DLED HDTV/DVD Combo. Please read this manual thoroughly before using the product and retain it for future reference.

The GPX TDU5045B integrates a 50-inch 4K Ultra HD display with a built-in DVD player, offering a comprehensive entertainment solution. It features multiple connectivity options including HDMI, USB, and optical audio output.

2. Safety Information

Always follow basic safety precautions when using this product to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and injury.

• Power Source: Ensure the power supply matches the voltage specified on the TV's rating label.
• Ventilation: Do not block ventilation openings. Allow adequate space around the TV for proper airflow.
• Water and Moisture: Do not expose the TV to rain or moisture. Do not place objects filled with liquids, such as vases, on the TV.
• Cleaning: Unplug the TV from the wall outlet before cleaning. Use a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners or aerosol cleaners.

4. Product Overview

Front Panel / Side Panel

• Display Screen: 50-inch 4K Ultra HD (3840 x 2160) DLED display.
• DVD Slot: Integrated DVD player for disc playback.
• Control Buttons: Power, Volume Up/Down, Channel Up/Down, Menu, Input (typically located on the side or bottom edge).

5. Setup

5.1 Assembling the Stand

1. Carefully place the TV face-down on a soft, clean surface to prevent screen damage.
2. Identify the left and right stand feet.
3. Align each stand foot with the corresponding screw holes on the bottom of the TV.
4. Secure each stand foot with the provided screws using a Phillips head screwdriver. Do not overtighten.
5. Carefully lift the TV and place it on a stable, level surface.

5.2 Connecting Devices

Before making any connections, ensure the TV and all devices are powered off and unplugged from the wall outlet.

• Power Connection: Connect the power cord to the TV's power input, then plug the other end into a wall outlet.
• Antenna/Cable: Connect a coaxial cable from your antenna or cable wall outlet to the "Antenna/Cable In" port on the TV.
• HDMI Devices: Connect HDMI cables from your external devices (e.g., Blu-ray player, game console) to the HDMI input ports on the TV. Note which HDMI port you use for each device.
• Audio System (Optional): For external audio, connect an optical audio cable from the TV's "Optical Audio Out" port to your soundbar or home theater system.

5.3 Initial Power On and Setup Wizard

1. Plug the TV into a power outlet.
2. Press the Power button on the TV or remote control to turn it on.
3. The first-time setup wizard will appear. Follow the on-screen prompts to select your language, time zone, and perform an automatic channel scan for antenna/cable signals.

6. Operating

6.1 Basic TV Functions

• Power On/Off: Press the POWER button on the remote or TV.
• Input Selection: Press the INPUT or SOURCE button on the remote to cycle through available input sources (TV, HDMI1, HDMI2, HDMI3, DVD, USB, SD).
• Volume Control: Use the VOL + and VOL - buttons.
• Channel Selection: Use the CH + and CH - buttons for TV channels.
• Menu Navigation: Use the MENU button to access settings, and arrow keys (▲ ▼ ◄ ►) to navigate. Press ENTER or OK to confirm.

6.2 Using the Built-in DVD Player

1. Select the "DVD" input source using the INPUT button.
2. Gently insert a DVD disc into the disc slot on the side of the TV, label side facing up. The player will automatically load the disc.
3. Playback should begin automatically. Use the DVD control buttons on the remote (Play, Pause, Stop, Fast Forward, Rewind, Skip) to manage playback.
4. To eject the disc, press the EJECT button on the remote or TV.

6.3 USB and SD Media Playback

1. Insert a USB flash drive into the USB port or an SD card into the SD card slot.
2. Select the "USB" or "SD" input source using the INPUT button.
3. A media browser will appear. Navigate through your files (photos, music, videos) using the arrow keys and OK button.
4. Select a file to begin playback.

7.1 Cleaning the TV

• Always unplug the TV before cleaning.
• Use a soft, dry, lint-free cloth to wipe the screen and cabinet.
• For stubborn marks on the screen, lightly dampen the cloth with water or a specialized screen cleaner (ensure it's safe for LCD/LED screens). Do not spray liquid directly onto the screen.
• Avoid using abrasive cleaners, waxes, or solvents.

7.2 Storage

If you plan to store the TV for an extended period:

• Unplug the TV and disconnect all cables.
• Remove batteries from the remote control.
• Store the TV in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
• It is recommended to use the original packaging for storage to protect the TV from dust and physical damage.
