1. Introduction
This manual provides comprehensive instructions for the installation, operation, and maintenance of your 6 Sigma Nitrous Oxide (NOS) and Boost Bottle Kit. This kit is designed for Loncin Bike, Scooter, and ATV engines ranging from 50cc to 150cc. Please read this manual thoroughly before installation and use to ensure proper function and safety.

4. Setup and Installation
4.1. Nitrous System Installation (4-Stroke & 2-Stroke Engines)
- Mount the NOS Dispenser: Secure the NOS GO Button Dispenser to a convenient location on your handlebar or frame using the provided Velcro strap or zip ties. Ensure it is easily accessible for activation.

Figure 4.1: Example of NOS dispenser mounting on a handlebar.
- Connect NOS Hose: Attach one end of the 5 ft clear poly NOS hose to the dispenser. Route the hose neatly and securely to the engine's intake system.
- Install Nozzle & Tee Fitting: Identify a suitable location on the intake manifold or airbox for the 3/16" nozzle. Drill a small pilot hole, then carefully install the nozzle and tee fitting. Ensure a tight, leak-free seal.
- Connect to Intake: Connect the other end of the NOS hose to the installed nozzle/tee fitting. Use zip ties to secure the hose away from hot or moving parts.
- Insert Nitrous Bottle: Screw a 16-gram nitrous bottle into the dispenser. Do not overtighten.
4.2. Boost Bottle Installation (2-Stroke Engines ONLY)
The boost bottle system is only compatible with 2-stroke engines. Do not attempt to install on 4-stroke engines.
- Mount Boost Bottle: Secure the re-purposed 20cc boost bottle to the frame or another suitable location using zip ties.
- Connect Boost Bottle Hose: Attach one end of the 2 ft clear poly boost bottle hose to the boost bottle.
- Connect to Intake Manifold: Connect the other end of the boost bottle hose to the tee fitting installed in the intake manifold (if shared with NOS) or to a separate vacuum port on the intake manifold. Ensure all connections are secure.
Engine Tuning: For optimum performance, engine tuning may be required after installation. This includes carburetor adjustments (jetting) for 2-stroke and 4-stroke engines. Consult a qualified mechanic if you are unsure about tuning procedures.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1. Nitrous System Operation
- Ensure the nitrous bottle is securely installed in the dispenser.
- When ready to activate, press the "GO" button on the dispenser. Nitrous oxide will be injected into the engine's intake.
- Release the button to stop the flow of nitrous oxide.
- Each 16-gram bottle provides a limited duration of boost. Replace bottles as needed.
- It is recommended to use nitrous oxide at wide-open throttle for maximum effect and to minimize potential engine stress.
5.2. Boost Bottle System Operation (2-Stroke Engines ONLY)
The boost bottle system operates passively by storing and releasing fuel/air mixture pulses from the intake manifold, improving low-end throttle response and torque. No user interaction is required during operation.
6. Maintenance
- Nitrous Bottle Replacement: When a nitrous bottle is depleted, unscrew it from the dispenser and replace it with a new 16-gram bottle. Dispose of empty bottles responsibly.
- Hose and Fitting Inspection: Regularly inspect all hoses and fittings for cracks, leaks, or damage. Replace any compromised components immediately.
- System Cleaning: Keep the dispenser and boost bottle clean and free of debris.
- Storage: When not in use for extended periods, remove nitrous bottles from the dispenser and store them in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
7. Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| No boost when button pressed | Empty nitrous bottle Clogged nozzle Loose hose connection | Replace nitrous bottle Inspect and clear nozzle Check all hose connections for tightness |
| Engine runs poorly after NOS activation | Improper engine tuning (jetting) Nitrous flow too rich/lean | Adjust carburetor jetting. Consult a professional if needed. |
| Nitrous leaks from dispenser/fittings | Loose connections Damaged O-rings/seals | Tighten all connections. Inspect and replace O-rings/seals if damaged. |
| Boost bottle not effective (2-stroke only) | Improper connection to intake Leak in boost bottle system | Verify secure connection to intake manifold. Check hoses and bottle for leaks. |
