- Select Correct Input: Use the OSD menu or remote control to ensure the correct input source is selected (e.g., if using HDMI, select 'HDMI').
- Power Cycle Devices: Turn off both the monitor and the source device, then turn them back on. For PC connections, a reboot of the PC may be necessary.
- Test with Another Device/Cable: If possible, try connecting a different source device or using a different cable to rule out faulty equipment.
8.2. No Sound
- Check Volume: Ensure the monitor's volume is not muted or set too low. Adjust using the OSD menu or remote.
- Source Audio: Verify that the audio output from your source device is working correctly.
- HDMI Audio: If using HDMI, ensure your source device is configured to output audio via HDMI.
8.3. Picture Quality Issues (Blurry, Distorted)
- Adjust Resolution: Ensure the output resolution of your source device matches the monitor's native resolution (1280x800) or a supported resolution.
- Adjust OSD Settings: Fine-tune brightness, contrast, sharpness, and color settings in the OSD menu.
- Check Cable Quality: A low-quality or damaged cable can cause picture distortion. Try a different cable.
