Setup
1. Battery Installation
Locate the battery compartment on the back of the thermometer unit. Insert the two 'AAA' batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-). Close the battery compartment cover securely.
2. Probe Connection
Plug the stainless steel probe's cord into the designated port on the side of the thermometer unit. Ensure the connection is firm.

Operating Instructions
1. Power On/Off
Slide the ON/OFF switch located on the side of the unit to power the thermometer on or off. The display will illuminate when powered on.
2. Setting a Temperature Alarm
Use the 'SET' button and the UP/DOWN toggles to adjust the desired target temperature. Once the target temperature is set, the thermometer will sound an alarm when the probe reaches this internal temperature.
3. Using the Timer Function
The unit also features a timer function. Refer to the specific buttons on the front panel to set and start the timer as needed for your cooking process.
4. Measuring Meat Temperature
Carefully insert the stainless steel probe into the thickest part of the meat, avoiding bone. Ensure the probe tip is fully embedded for an accurate reading. The current internal temperature will be displayed on the screen.

For your convenience, the back of the thermometer unit features a printed guide with suggested internal temperatures for various types of meat. Always follow food safety guidelines for minimum safe cooking temperatures.

Care and Maintenance
Cleaning
Wipe the thermometer unit clean with a damp cloth. The stainless steel probe can be cleaned with warm, soapy water. Do not immerse the main thermometer unit in water.
Battery Replacement
Replace batteries when the display becomes dim or the unit fails to power on. Use 2 'AAA' batteries.
Troubleshooting
- No Display/Unit Not Turning On: Check battery installation and ensure batteries are fresh.
- Inaccurate Readings: Ensure the probe is fully inserted into the thickest part of the meat, away from bone. Verify the probe cord is securely connected to the unit.
- Alarm Not Sounding: Check that the alarm temperature is set correctly and the alarm function is activated.
